Hello man ! i always follow you and you are clearly the best about sketchup and all the programs about 3D :). I have a question: Do you prefer Lumion 2024 or D5 Render 2.9 ? I dont know if you noticed it about D5 Render but since the patch they did about AO settings, i find the shadows on white walls are bad (making a little black line on the intersection of 2 walls). Lumion 10 was doing it also and i hate that... i am noticing lumion 2024 doesnt do it anymore because of the raytracing.
I've not really done a side by side - I'm assuming it's like anything else - there are cases where it looks better and cases where the others look better, BUT at least now it's in the running
Hi. I have a question for you, since you bring Sketchup models into Lumion. I have never had a problem with materials that I bring in on Sketchup models into Lumion. Until I updated to Sketchup 2024. Now some of the materials on my Sketchup model come in skewed and without color. I tested it out and the problem is definitely on Sketchup 's end, because I tried bringing Sketchup 2023 models in and there is no problem. It only happens with the models I make in version 2024 of Sketchup. Have you experienced this problem?
I haven't, but I've also not done anything super in depth in Lumion from SketchUp since the 2024 version came out. You might leave a post in the SketchUp forum and see if anyone else is having this issue?

Why are so many people still working with Lumion? D5 has AI features and will be adding a few new ones in the next update. Its cheaper, same (and sometimes better) quality, more assets(for nature at least), and they're advancing way faster.

great! but why there is no reflections of trees and plants on my windows if im doing external rendering while using ray tracing?
Don't know - are they not in your final render? Are you sure your final render is set to be ray traced?
Yes its a final rendering and set by ray tracing and no plants and trees reflection only the house infont of it😢
