    I'm not sure if you'll see this, Cliff, or not. But if so, I wanted to share something about the story of Abraham and the offering of his son Isaac, that greatly blessed me when I heard it, that I thought you might find interesting too.
    In Genesis 17, the Lord creates a covenant with Abraham. He will be "a father of many nations" and this covenant was established between God and Abraham and Abraham's seed after him. Right after this mcovenant promise, in Genesis 17:16, God tells Abraham that Sarah will bore him a son, "and she will be a mother of nations..." Abraham laughs internally because of Sarah's age, then says something about Ishmael, as if to say, "Surely You must be referring to Ishmael as this son whom You say Sarah will give me?" God corrects Abraham very clearly, saying in Genesis 17:19, "Sarah your wife will indeed bear a son for you; and you will call his name Isaac. And I shall establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him."
    So all that was to say this: God didn't tell Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac as some type of "prove you love Me more than you love him" test. But rather, it was a "Do you have faith in my promises?" test. The Lord told Abraham that many peoples and nations will be born- very specifically- from ISAAC's seed. So when God told Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, this had two main purposes that I'm aware of. The first being to play out the type, or foreshadowing, of the Father sending the Son Jesus as a sacrifice. (And as a side note, the place where Abraham goes to sacrifice his son, is the same place Jesus will be crucified a few thousand years later. Crazy.) And the second being to test Abraham's faith and willingness to trust in the promises of God. Abraham knew that God promised there would be many people through Isaac's seed. So if God is telling Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, well, that's God's problem (in a sense) to work out. Whether He's going to have to raise Isaac from the dead, or stop it some how, who knows? But somehow, God will figure it out because He promised that Isaac would have children, and he doesn't have any yet, so there's nothing to fear so long as Abraham believes that God will keep His promises.
    But just thought you'd find that interesting, and it might help the next time someone brings this story up as a "gotcha question". But thanks for the videos, I've learned so much. Keep up the good work!

    19:50 Why God allows Bad and Good. A parent when giving there child there first car gives them a safe but cheap car to learn with also for the parent to see will they obey the rules look after the car or will they break the rules and wreck the car and should they be allowed to have a better more powerful car and the outcome is all based on that Childs choices and decisions. This life is our first car what we do with it our choices and decisions lets us and God know if we should get a better life with God or a life separate from God just like the child there is the right way and wrong and just like the child we are free to choose. We can do as God asks or we can do what we want either reveals to ourselves what we are willing to do and what we will reap heaven through God or hell through ourselves.

    A young man asked if God hates evil why did he create the construct. He believes God is responsible for the evil men do in this world through free will. A scarf was created to warm the neck. If someone uses a scarf to choke someone to death, would you blame the creator of the scarf? No. The scarf was used outside of its purpose. Likewise, man uses his free will outside of its purpose. God gave us free will for the purpose of loving him and then our fellow man. When man uses his free will to commit evil he is using free will outside of its purpose. We don't blame the creator...God, just as we would not blame the person who created the scarf.

    • @dogelife7901

      Awesome metaphor. Truly God has allowed "evil" but only out of respect for free will, those evil things were brought about by Satan and human disobedience.
      I believe that we will be given new eyes to see all evil and good simultaneously as God does. And on that day we will see the true nature of God's justice over all choices ever made.

    Hi Cliff, I admire your work the way you teach the gospel, but one statement made me wonder how is someone who kills himself to receive forgifness for the "not unforgivable sin" if he is dead and his opportunity to ask for forgiveness and receive forgiveness has past? According to the gospel.

    • @dogelife7901
      @dogelife7901 2 года назад

      The unforgivable sin is blasphemy of the holy spirit. But God us the ultimate judge so he will determine that. We can all agree that suicide is bad, so the holy spirit has revealed that truth. It is a sin like murder, but even Jesus chose murderers(formerly) to follow him.
      Treating your God given life and body with respect and having hope in Jesus allows one to overcome even the darkest of circumstances. For those who believe in Jesus they will be saved.

    I lovee ALL your videos! Ive learn sooo much! But im having trouble by accepting what you stated on the 1st part of the vid at the end. You stated that we go to Heaven by what Christ did and not by our lifestyle? which I agree of course because of what Christ did. we live by grace and have the opportunity to go to him unashamed.
    From my understanding it’s not just only excepting Christ in your heart but trying to live it out as much as you can. So to hear that someone can take their own life away and it’s OK because they go to heaven because they excepted Christ in your heart it’s a bit off to me.
    If that was the case Why just not everyone that has Christ in the hearts commit suicide just to make it to heaven instead of living in this world.
    You’re right it does not say and pacifically that suicide is a sin and will take him to hell but it does say Love your neighbor as yourself. I believe if you kill yourself you’re not loving yourself.
    I stand corrected if I misunderstood. Love the channel and love you Cliff you’re the best!

      Yes me too. Suicide is neglecting the opportunity to live out Christ in one's life and that is a sin against Holy Spirit who lives within our body, which is the temple of God.
      1 Corinthians
      3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
      3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

    10:12 - 10:37 While you are still breathing, repent of what turns out to be misleading! We are not called to spread untruths, especially not about an act by which one loses everything, because there is no forgiveness for the act! "Judas" is an example for all of us, not to throw away the trust and confidence in Jesus, that I am forgiven because of God's gracious sacrifice, for the forgiveness of sins! If a soldier quickly saves the lives of his comrades by throwing himself over a grenade, can not be equated with suicide someone does in self-pity, pain, or because of anxiety and extinguish his or her own life received from God.
    But to say that suicide is not an unforgivable sin can drive people who are already thinking of taking their lives to actually do it, guess what, that serious warning in love is the first and last thing that prevents some from taking their lives, if they hear that there is no danger in doing it, guess what again! I can promise you as a brother in Christ, Jesus does not look at such things with gentle and understanding eyes!

    • @dogelife7901
      @dogelife7901 2 года назад +1

      It is not an unforgivable sin, but it is a sin. I've seen murderers judged very harshly by atheists often. Even though they have changed their lives, and found christ the atheists still categorize them as murderers. JESUS is the ones who accepts sinners when they repent and are born again, and we will know them by their works (not just blindly believing they are saved).
      Those who choose suicide are choosing to "live" in sin, just like the adulterer, the drunkard, the murderer, the homosexual, or the pedophile. They will be judged according to their works. That doesn't mean they should do it, but if they have faith in Jesus then Jesus will save them from death they deserve.

    Cliffe I think its better to delete this video. The suicide part and the message you've given is absolutely wrong and against the scripture. Suicide is destroying the body, which is the temple of God. In 1 Corinthians Paul mentions that God will destroy those who destroy the temple of God, which is the human body in which Holy Spirit dwells. Suicide is neglecting the opportunity to live out Christ in one's lifetime irrespective of one's depression, financial burdens or love failures. And that is a sin against the Holy Spirit. Sorry Cliffe, you're wrong.

    You can still love without a free will. Love is not necessarily a free choice. I have heard many people say I love someone and it was not my choice. If there is "unconditional" love that means you love someone even if you may not have chosen to love them. To "chose" something requires you have looked at the options and decided for or against. So there is either no unconditional" love if you have free will and everything you do is a choice or there is something helping you chose. By the way we dont chose we have inclinations by the Holy Spirit that guide us to make us think it was our choice. It is arrogant to think that when the bible says Luke 18.19 And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone. If our choice is not guided by God it will never be good. Days of Noah; The LORD observed the extent of human wickedness on the earth, and he saw that everything they thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil. After the death of Christ the Holy spirit put inclinations of good and bad in us to help teach our soul and cultivate or spirit by showing us true good and true wrong.
