no hate and im not a proffessional vocalcoach but to me it sounds like her voice isnt well rested due to touring because it sounds way too hoarsey even tori does have a unique mixy hoarseness like her eb5 from my heart will go on sounds terrible an pushed compared to her eb5 in bridge over troubled water outro which is fantastic correct me if im wrng,but still the riff queennnnnn,love your showcases can you pls do ariana grANDES ACCOUSTIC of we cant be friends
i think they filmed the episode early in the morning and that's why it doesn't sound as clean as usual. it's taxing for the vocal cords. she recorded this before she went on the asia tour as well so it's a day thing and not a tour related problem.
@@luxejohn Ask any singer alive and none of them would want to sing in the morning. The voice isn’t warmed up from talking all day or hydrated at all. It is like your back or legs when you wake up, they feel stiff. And until you move around a bit do they feel normal and flexible again.
Tori has always had a raspy voice tho. It comes and goes. She knows how to turn it on and turn it off. She can sound clear in the mornings yet raspy during the nighttime. Vocalists that have a natural raspy tone experiences that all the time. Brandy, Fantasia, Jazmine. Sometimes the voice simply just does what it wants to do.

That's very exaggerated, you guys just crucify any singer for sounding a little hoarse. This is a human singing voice lol.
