My fam's Excursion has a 4 inch lift, and it used to sag a little bit. We put some bags on it a year or two ago, and it rides much more level. The Trailer also doesn't sway as much as it used to, now that its also more level.
You can pull gooseneck on a truck lifted up as much as 8in after that that when really start seeing trailer angle becoming a problem. Also people need to make sure that the springs in there lift are rated for the same capacity as oem to match gcvw. Tires and wheels are also a big factor making sure that they also meet oem standards you can’t slap on tires that are not rated for weight that’s lower then your oem spec and expect same performance from your truck.
Man I love those truck I have my truck Chevy Silverado 2009 on my way trying to put some stuff on it got leveling kit 3 in and the back and in the rear and I got a tune and I got a cold air tank so right now what I would really love would be some rims 20s by 14
Dude that's a 5th wheel. Do a 27-32 bumper pull camper so you deal with the wind effect on the highway in a 70mph speed limit zone and see how it does when passed by semis, especially down a mountain side.
Not one word about tire weight rating. Thinner sidewalks heat up faster and look dumb. You did a good job of covering most everything else, though. Good work.
I'm thinking about getting 3'5 inch lift from rough country and all the components shocks all the way around and new control arms on my 2021 silverado ltz on weekends I haul horses to these jackpot ropings what are some good ideas would it be a good or bad choice to lift I'm already riding on a 2inch level on 33's
What about brakes? That’s the most important part of towing with a lifted truck also u should make it the other way tow the “lifted”chevy with that lifted Ford, not hating I tow with my 8” lifted f250 on 38s and towing heavy it’s not fun!
Personally I'm not a fan of lifted trucks but I respect guys that do it and still work their truck. What I can't stand is the truck guys that have no business owning a truck and could have a f350 or a civic and it would make no difference to them in their day to day. Even worse than that is lifted truck guys that again have no need for even a Honda Ridgeline! They'll look in their huge colour matched tow mirror that they'll never actually need and see and Honda civic with some stupid wheels, spoiler and soup can exhaust then have the audacity to call them a ricer without realizing that they them selves are also a ricer but at a far higher level.

I have 35” atturo trail blades on now.. i prefer the look of the 35 over the 33, they always seemed thin to me.. however more cutting to fit the 35 and still get a lil rub on heavy right hand turns and coming out of steep drive way… may just go back to 33 after these tires are bad
If all these lego built show trucks can tow and tow GOOD. Then it just proves all these parts we buy are overpriced junk. But since we know they are good. I’d say they definitely can tow and should tow something. Why else build it. Seems to me cat eye chevys are pretty freakin low from factory. Your 4 inch lift looks like stock ride hight on my 11 chevy

Now you need to lift the trailer and put on the big mud tires so it matches the trucks!
Yessss!
I’ve got a 10 inch lift on my f 250 I m looking at a 36 foot bumper pull toy hauler camper what do you think

What brand of lift is good for towing?
How not to rub with spacers and offset rims if you don't have a lift yet?
What kind of helper bags did you use
I love that style of duramax. It looks so good

I would assume that everything me tioned in this video would be the same for the 1500 model trucks

You'd need a realignment, and shouldn't have any slop if installed correctly and OE parts aren't worn
