You're the only Booktuber who doesn't recommend the same old tiktok books. I've already read a few of your recommendations and really appreciate it . ❤
I have a personal library of over 1000 books. I used to love being among them, in the library room but now the shelves are double stacked and I actually get a bit of anxiety looking at them. I LOVE books. Its hard to get rid of them but you aer inspiring me to purge and give them away. I have recently really embraced the Kindle. I read on that and if its a book I must have in my library I then buy a physical copy. Thanks for sharing your experience
Love your accents and Oleg in the mirror 😂 You have inspired me to clean out my book cases. I’m sure there are books that I can get rid of but it’s very overwhelming.
I absolutely love all the interior in your videos!! ❤️ would you ever make a housetour or something? You have such cool art etc. Totally understand if it’s too personal :)
I thought you were getting rid of all your books for a second😅 love a sort out, it always makes me feel productive, even though I can barely get rid of any of my books...
Hi Ana! May I just say that you are absolutely delightful, and I love all your videos very much! I am a french lit student and I was curious as to what you didn’t like about “Getting Lost” by Annie Ernaux. I have yet to read it but I’ve read other books by Ernaux.. I do understand that people either LOVE her books or absolutely hate it.. but I was curious as to what you didn’t like about it as I value and respect your opinions very much :) much love from Egypt 🤍
I just found out I have to move out of my place by July, so I have been donating my books to various boxes in the city. Almost at 100 now...and a long way to go...and it is very painful. Thank you for this!
I keep doing double takes all the time because you look like Caitriona Balfe's sister! (She of "Outlander" fame, and one of the most beautiful people on earth). 😳😄 Love your personality and the way you express yourself too, and all the bookish content -- especially this one because I've also been combing through all my books the past couple of days, and it's been really refreshing.
A bit late to this, but wow! Two books by Karen Jennings - a school friend of mine’s sister. Kind of surreal. Love your videos by the way! Binge watching for new potential reads 📖 🤓
Check out cosmic comics by Calvino…mind-benders…of physics…Gilead was also a great read by Robinson…serene & very generous…I’m eager to read Sara Kane’s plays…now I’m inspired to get nicer copies of my favorite books…vintage or first editions…
Codependent no more is phenomenal. But I listened to an audiobook from my library. Especially helpful if addiction is near you ❤️ I did not think codependency applied to me until I read that book.
That person who hates your bookshelf in the comments is not me but I'm with them,,, just not a fan of the aesthetics but personally to ppl who live in NYC go for it cos erm storage space real estate. Also Oleg casually reflected in the mirror watching your nonsense .x
I'd love to hear your thoughts the Joni Mitchell biography Reckless Daughter if you get around to it. I'm a die hard Mitchell fan but finding it a bit difficult to get through.
Having a Tom Hanks book in your collection without the context of your parents resembling the actor and Sally Field? Not surprised. I would, however, be a little confused if you had a phone book or a Sears Catalogue not even being used as a doorstopper.
You are going to regret disposing of a few!! I like the feel of the book the texture the pages in my hand. Einstein said every pair of shoes was like a millstone around his neck. I get that. I am 69. I spend more time trying to get rid of this I worked my ass off to buy. It’s a balance. But You are going to regret disposing of a few!!
Personally, I didn't think you had too many books, unless, I suppose, you weren't actually reading your way through them, but you don't have enough bookshelves. You need easy access to books, and good storage, if you intend to read them, and/or acquire more. I did enjoy your dedication of the video, and humour about it, although I'm not keen on that shelf style myself, mainly because of the fact you have to tilt your head at an awkward angle to read titles, but also because it makes the books look uneven, and difficult to take out of the stack. I'd rather not have a video dedicated to me, if that's OK, though, as I'm super-sensitive about my tastes, unlike you, and I get that you've got your own personal taste, which I'm sure is a delight. It may become a very funny running joke, the shelf, and I'm sure the person who originally said it in comments is laughing along with you, about the dedication comment.
A REMINDER! Sell books to your local used bookstore. even if you live in a small town you'd be surprised how many small used bookstores exist and would love to buy your books. ebay-bad
why spend time reading when you can learn by researching the promise yourself through work and traveling the world,,reading books in my opinion is a waste, of course you can read financial books and so on but
Oleg in the mirror is the unexpected cameo I never knew I needed... haha!
Oleg in the mirror not even slightly interested in the chaos around him, I love it 😄

I literally also thought your books were just stacked!!! I didn’t even know it was a shelf WHATTTTTT LOL I LOVE IT
unlike the person who comments who hates your bookshelf,, i've been searching for a similar one for my room!

1. I think you are the only booktuber where I hit like before the video has even started - every single time.
2. Oleg totally rocking the mirror cameo
I'm sitting in the library. I'm a minimalist. It feels amazing. I donated ALL my fabulous books to the library and now everyone gets to read them.
I love that. Been trying to leave books on the side of the road for others
@@AnaWallaceJohnson Yes, what a treasure to find.
"worst book I've ever read…keeping it!!" hahaha I felt that
I think I could watch you talk about paint drying and it would be entertaining. Long live the shelf!
Love your accents and Oleg in the mirror 😂 You have inspired me to clean out my book cases. I’m sure there are books that I can get rid of but it’s very overwhelming.
This just popped up for me and I’m so glad. Loved that I genuinely never knew how you felt about a book based on your initial reaction. 10/10
I'd love an updated favorites list from you!

Came because of the yellow chair and books. Stayed because of the entertainment. Subscribed for the chaotic energy.
I just found out I have to move out of my place by July, so I have been donating my books to various boxes in the city. Almost at 100 now...and a long way to go...and it is very painful.
Thank you for this!
It's a good day, Ana Wallace Johnson posted a new video

OMGGGG book unhaul videos are soooo satisfying to watch lol
Song at the end is giving the song from Challengers!
I also have Blankets in line to read, maybe a book club pick for the coming months so we have to read it?
This video has inspired my own book cleaning/filtering/organising/selling spree
love that Oleg is just casually chilling on the bed while you do this 😆
I have the same bookshelf in black and kind of hate it but I like yours a lot more for some reason!
The reflexively reflective recluse we see reflected !
Your videos lighten up my day … thank you ! 😊

Hope this means there’s a book haul video coming soon
I thought the books were stacked super tall originally lol. I just got three hanging bookshelves that’s just more compact on the wall that I love
Glad I found your channel! Great taste in reading
I dream of finding as many books on the side of the road as you do 😅. This is super entertaining, you have such a cool collection!
Love it ! I love your book tower.

Could NEVER be me. I just acquired a ✨new bookshelf✨
You are so so entertaining. That was a good time.😆
Im currently doing the same thing 😅
I'd love to hear your thoughts the Joni Mitchell biography Reckless Daughter if you get around to it. I'm a die hard Mitchell fan but finding it a bit difficult to get through.

Just curious, where do you go to your books?
Have you read the lion in winter or twelve angry men plays ?
omg oleg's new bike is so sick 😮
Where did you get your bookshelf?
I fucked up and slept thru the auction. No offense but please declutter again- loyal fans would love to have a AWJ book in their collection. 🎉
gotta appreciate the queen kneeling on the floor for half an hour
It’s the same with vinyl records
Ana, you should open a P.O. Box so your fans can send you things… like books. 😉
always the best ❤
I seriously sing that Little Mermaid song almost every day of my life.
Web doobwah is my favorite author!
Can you do a video of your favorite plays? Please🔥🔥🔥🔥
