- These are rips from the first version of the game. There has since been an update to improve the videos quality and stutter so these are outdated and kind of bad looking

No upscaling this time around but instead directly from the pc port (well kind of) the opening in 1080p! Well I said kind of... you see for some god awful reason it seems they decided to use the windows media video 8 codec which is EVEN WORSE THAN THE VITA ONE. Like what the hell? Well no bother as I went and filtered it all real nice in vapoursynth with some deblocking, denoising, debanding, and anti alasing though that did not fix a lot of the alasing. This is straight from the game files so it is probably higher quality than most people on youtube as they tend to just record the openings by recording their screen with obs or fraps which results in quality loss not to mention no filtering.

While working on my mod that will come out soon tm (probably a week) I went ahead and made some subtitles for this song so if you want to see it with lyrics turn on closed captions.
Why did Sega half assed the custscenes so much on the PC?
I have no idea lol... I am however going to work on a mod to "slightly" improve the situation as with some filtering and slightly better wmv encoding settings the blockyness can go away mostly... however alasing is something I can not really fix.
