I like how u can hear children laughing in the background, it shows that EVERYONE is against DD, and has fallen to the corruption, even the most pure of heart
Have you seen FNF HD Week 4? Apparently Mommy Mearest said that he was crying in her arms after he had lost against Boyfriend, meaning that children and the audience were gawking and jeering at him. Now, they're taunting him and making a big joke out of him in order to make him drop. I feel awful for DD.

He literally fights until the end and looks pissed the entire time, so even though he's losing he's still angry beyond all belief.
He never losses that glow in, his eye meaning he is willing to fight to the very end no matter he is determined to win against the corruption and maybe even save bf his wife and everyone else

i love how emotional the start was. it almost sounded mystical, like the final boss was your first enemy.
When you think about it, that was exactly the case.
This version of deathmatch really shows how powerful of a threat was DD to the corruption, to the point that everyone(even outside the lore despite not existing in canon) needed to be there

Can we talk about that tho? Like I can only make out Hex, Tankman, Skid and Pump, mayber Tricky and maybe Whitty.
@@zanwrightmfwr756 Krinkels confirmed that Tricky can't be corrupted. He can be corrupted but he can control his own mind because he is already corrupted afterall. It's more of like a powerup to him.

Daddy Dearest stared coldly at the lifeless husk of the boy he had once known that stood before him. The husk stared back at him with a twisted grin, the stage lights growing dimmer by the second. Something about this was oddly... Nostalgic. Dearest thought back to a simpler time, a memory that went back years ago. A time where Dearest had the world under his control. A time where he was the authority, and everyone else were forced to respect him. But what he was really thinking about was when Dearest sung against the boy for the very first time. He remembered that they were both eager to win at all costs, the two sharing a fierce hatred for the other.
And now, they were facing eachother yet again, on the very same stage they fought on that very day. And instead of fighting for pride and honour, they were now fighting for their lives. Previously a grudge match, now it's become a death match. But strangely, despite everything that had changed, everything that was at stake, in a way, nothing has changed. Dearest felt the urge to win at all costs once again, and although it was hard to tell, he knew that the boy felt the same urge deep down. The two once again shared a vicious hatred for eachother.
But unlike the last time, Dearest wasn't planning on losing. Dearest was determined to reign supreme this time, not only so he could reclaim the power he once had over everyone that was suddenly snatched away from him, not only to save the entire world from being overcome with corruption, but so he could avenge his fallen wife and daughter he missed so, so much.

Literal definition of tight bars, also for the guys that said that this is much better than the original deathmatch remember, every good thing can be better, and without the OG deathmatch, this wouldnt have existed

Yeh man, this project surpass the original mod by many aspects but at the end of all we wouldn't be here without the original corruption mod, I just hope to people won't go on their way to complaing about the quality of the og now with this

The concert setting, the laughter at the end... It's got this feel where something terrible is happening, but happy music is playing in the background. Like in Evangelion. This version of Deathmatch actually feels like everything is at stake. And the odds are incredibly stacked against DD. Hell, Boyfriend bought the boys and a whole crowd just to watch him get overtaken by the black goop.

That's like my most favorite part too
Just had a thought as to why it changes to other corrupted characters. Right before BF swaps to someone else, it sounds like DD is just decimating BF without giving him a chance to do anything. This is why BF swaps places, to recover after almost losing. It's only after MM where DD starts losing ground that BF comes back in.
This is actually the best Deathmatch Remix i've ever seen so far, you and whoever helped you did a very good job on this
Anyone going to talk about how at the very end you can hear a heartbeat, probably showing that DD is slowly being corrupted.
I really love how, at the end, when Dad is on one knee you can hear that his voice sounds like he is crying while singing

the instrumental for who sings really represents that character, like pico's guitar and spooky kid's ghost-ish sounds

This deathwatch should have been like a what if like "What if Daddy Dearest didn't give up after seeing Mommy Mearest" that would of been pretty cool. Anyways I love this remix I can't stop listening to it bro! Amazing job!

I never actually played the corruption mod, and I will actually do so before this mod comes out, but this song is awesome, you did an amazing job using so many different soundfonts, also I swear I've heard that tune before (timestamp for reference: 3:23)

good remix but I just noticed something when bf became corrupted it was in week 5 so he should be wearing his christmas clothes not his normal ones other than that I dont find any more problems with the music or character designs I like how dd looked like his character icon in the real phantom fear video when he was facing mm he did this when he was on his knees

Wait hold up that white glowing eyes he has! Now that I think about could soul bf be DD as a last resort to save bf and gave him save every one else cuz soul bf had white eyes with a white heart tail but the tail isn't important rn the white glowing eye that DD had is the same exact color as soul bf. So could DD'S Glowing white eye be connected to soul bf? Idk know if it is but if u put the 2 together at the end DD had a glowing white eye and soul bf has glowing white eyes as well so could they both be connected which means DD could be soul bf trying to free bf from his corruption starting from the inside and rap battling him to try and free from the corruption from the inside out. It's just my theory I know that it ain't true but it's a theory.
