Great suggestion. I am honestly working on another couple of video projects atm (that are taking longer than planned). This one could be a good one for down the road.
Very good cover! The part where James says "Searching.... Seek And Destroy" is played on the A string from the 10th fret to the 7th fret played with power chords. This is just a tip on how to play it right. I just know Metallica how they play that part in concerts and I decided to write you how to play it the right way. By the way the end of the song is played with a power chord on the A string 10th fret.
It's true, they play this way on concert. But on the record, you can hear that the chords sound more "caustic" than "heavy", so everything is played correctly except for the last E chord
If I’m being honest, I have been playing far too long and work/parenting has left me severely under-practiced lol. Making videos for this channel are usually a fun motivator to keep me on my game 😉
@@ConanDrumBand Keep it up! Recording yourself seems to be a great way to force yourself to progress. I myself am a scrub "pandemic player" with a year of self taught learning under my belt. I am working on this song as well. Pretty much can play it all, but the solo's. Which for me I never thought would be possible. Always avoided the solos, but now I have been working on those lately and getting closer and closer. I am inconsistent/sloppy at times at regular speed. Baby steps. For sure the song is way easier to play on an electric guitar. Always enjoyed acoustic covers. So when I saw this I had to watch.
This makes me want to break out my acoustic and fail miserably at trying to even get close to this!
Do it! You might surprise yourself. It’s not quite as tough as Playing God by Polyphia 😂.
it was one of the first riffs i learned on the e guitar and the first part was actually really easy for me just had to get the speed right
This song is actually quite easy, if you nail the pulloffs
@@Kriegter yeah i suck at pull offs but it sounds okay haha
Lmaoo😂😂😂
i love this type of stuff! metal riffs always sound so cool/interesting on acoustics
I’m always thinking of doing another video like this when I can settle on the right song.
Excellent ! Thanks for putting it up bro !
Heavy metal Taylor. Love this!😊
For the first couple of years after getting mine, my electric became almost non-existent 😅.
This is fire 🔥 try for whom the bell tolls too

Very nice! :DD
*_Try try if your palm keep fingers so strongly and plastic , elastic ĥave to be nerve too_*

🤗good bro
I think this acoustic version was on the B side of the No Remorse single.
Lol - That’s high praise 😏
❤❤
Seek and Destroy e The Four Horsemen são as melhores músicas do Metallica.

Thanks for the feedback 😊
i noticed that tho i thought it wound better cuz it matches the heavy tone of the open note

This is awesome dude! Keep making what you love man!
3:51 sounds like Shape Of You by Ed Sheeran
Haha! If only they went in a slightly different direction, Metallica could have been famous 😂.
Enjoyed the cover. You gotta go for the solos too! How long have you been playing at the time you recorded this?

idk but i feel so exhausted seeing you play this song on acoustic, especially on the down stroke part 😭😭
Regarding the down stroke part… at least it isn’t Master of Puppets 😂😂.
Nice job
What a chad keep up the great work
Muy bueno tío, la has clavado y encima tienes un parecido a James
Omargoshtv plays guitar 😱

Duuuuuuude u r awesome

That’s not a cover its an album play along
It is a guitar cover rather than a full song cover. I’m following a similar description to other videos. I hope you enjoyed it.
Very nice!
