For me its Monza 2000 when Schumacher equaled Sennas number of wins. The press conference afterwards is hard to watch, but heartwarming to see Mika consoling Schumacher even though they were fierce rivals.
I don't think anything can top the flood of relief and happiness I felt seeing Grosjean climb out of the burning wreck that looked like there was zero chance he survived.
Imola 94 was a horrible weekend, Ratzenberger and then Senna. It’s the one I remember so vividly, Senna lifeless in the car. As good as the happy memories are, the sad ones cut deep
For me the same. And after that moment, the Senna funeral, i cried all the time. You saw the Brazilians crying, they lost their national hero. That was very hard to watch. I never ever forget it.
Emotions are always personal. Senna 94 dying. Schumacher 97 trying to drive off Villeneuve for championship in last race. Max first win 2016 in Barcelona Lewis winning 2008 last lap in Brazil. Max 2021 clinching the championship last lap. Bonus: Max winning Brazil 24 from 17 to 1 (total recency bias)
Zolder 82, Imola 94, Nurnberg 76, Suzuka 76 and Zandvoort 73 not to forget Rindt, Bianchi, Peterson......too much happend since this show entered our lives...
My favorite emotional moment in F1 was when Ruben's Barrichello got his first F1 win in Hockenheim 2000. #2. My favorite driver of all time Juan Pablo Montoya, winning his first race a week after 9/11.
Michael Schumacher won when his mom passed away - imola 2003 Michael Schumacher winning 2000 championship for Ferrari after 21 years Michael Schumacher matching his idol Ayrton Senna on wins and on press conference breaking himself out- He was chasing Aryton and saw it first hand of the accident
1, Senna's dead, 2, Clark's dead, 3 Gilles dead, 4, Senna going for the gap in Japan and crashing with Prost, 5, The flagged off rain race in Monaco which Prost won, Senna was quicker than Prost and Bellof was quicker than Senna. What a deception it was when Ickx waved the flag prematurely.
Ah yes, but Stefan's Tyrrell 012 wasn't quite, shall we say, in conformity with the FIA's sporting regulations (later dubbed "the world's fastest shotgun") ... still, a great drive to remember. ;)
Great list. I’ll need to add Antoine Hubert in 2019. Yes, I know it was F2, but I was actually there, watching it in real time from La Source. The weather was great, this race was a great lead up to F1 quali… and then that happened. There’s something inexplicable that happens at a race track when something like that happens. Seeing that car split in half, people just… knew. We all hoped, but we knew. It’s personal bias, I know, but this is a subjective question.
Ive seen it happen so yeah it's emotional but my friend never saw it live (and only started watching because of my Schumi obsession) but never cared really for Senna and it doesn't do much. (Besides the normal feelings when a young person died ofc
Love these episodes. It tells a lot about the emotion and how we consume F1. We might disagree on a lot if things but by god do we love this sport. In the and we all bleed the same.
Should have called this the top five Lewis Hamilton moments. Sorry guys this is pretty bad. A lot happened in F1 be Lewis turned up. Baxty is the most narrow minded F1 so called fans I've ever encountered. He's not an F1 fan He's a Hamilton fan. Poor show guys.
Most emotional 1- Losing Ayrton 2- Ayrton/Prost wreck in Japan 3- RG climbing out of the burning Haas 4- Kubicas wreck in Canada 5- The robbery in AD 21. Why are my emotional moments unfortunate ones?
I commented on this and it's disappeared. Quite detailed saying I need to go back and watch those old races, and will be emotional to hear Murrays voice again. I said I thought this was a good chat. I agreed with the final choices and pleased Cam mentioned '21... Maybe it's something I said🤔
For me the most emotional moment was watching Kimi getting his but kicked by Fernando every race weekend when they were teammates at Ferrari. Kimi was my favorite driver as a kid and I never forgave him for the horror show that was his 2nd stint at Ferrari.
Not to have Senna 94' in the list would have been criminal. A very significant moment in history that will be remembered and documented for a very long time. The, arguably, best driver ever lost his life while competing at a legendary circuit.. Number 1 status right there
Michael Schumacher winning at Imola 2003 a day after his mother passed. The greatest overtake in F1 history Abu Dhabi 2021. Fernando winning at Valencia 2012 from 11th on the grid. Lewis 2024 wad great And the loss of Ayton is unprecedented.
Patrick Tambay winning at Imola 1983. In the famous number 27 Ferrari that was made that by his best friend Gilles Villeneuve, who was killed the year before, and then Tambay replaced. I remember that day. That and Senna's death for me
1994 Monza, zandvoort 1973, Senna Prost Imola of track, Mario Andretti 1978 World champ. Max first win ( i am dutch, so it was the first dutch driver who won )
IM 45 years old Been watching F1 since I was 5 years old... And seriously Baxter amd chez really made the most intelligent remarks For a couple of young blokes they really hit the nail on the head about SENNA! Baxter and chez you two are true F1 fans... sorry Cameron! Mate u just proved yourself to be a lewis avangelist!!!!
Personally i think Senna's passing and AD 2021 should've topped the list, because what sets them apart is that every single person watching felt SOMETHING about those things. The others were more for specific fans. I think we could all appreciate the emotions for the others but it didnt evoke reactions from literally everybody.
Fact or not? sir Lewis Hamilton Won 6 of his world titles in an absolutely dominant car and team! A historic dominance in the history of formula 1 never before so explicitly! The numbers confirm this 8 constructors titles in a row including 2021! And on top of that Lewis Hamilton has been beaten by Max Verstappen in a non dominant car and team.... in the year 2021!
Sorry, not trying to offend anyone. BUT maybe these guys are too young for this ranking … cause what about the races / wins / championships / sensations way back in the 50‘ + 60‘s + 70‘s + 80‘s?
well top moment is easy. nr 1 is imola 94. i watched it. and all the other you guys mentioned. it is nr 1 because 2 people died. abu dhabi however angry i was at the injustice done, nobody died. Massas fantastic human and fighting spirit combined with humility in brazil 2008, was great to see. so it goes in nr 2. and abu dhabi because of the scandal that it still is and always will be, is nr3.
in truth, switch the senna and prost winners of 89/90 thats nr 5. damon hill 94 is nr 4. villeneuve jerez 97 is nr 6 but at least justice was done that year. when justice isnt done, it lingers, at least for me. makes it harder to forget. change winner of 2021 to hamilton, becasue he would have if rules would have been followed. my wish is also that lewis won in 2007, instead of 2008. so that massa could have won in 2008. schumi has 6 championships due to the injustice in 94. hill should have 2 championships. 94 and 96. and also, id give kimi the 2005 championship. but all of this is wishful thinking, based on partly ijustices done/how the drivers were performing in the car that year. hamilton had 9 straight podiums in 2007.
Also 2024 silverstone win of hamilton was emotional. Nothing more emotional than seeing a GOAT showing he can still do it. Same with schumi’s pole in Monaco for mercedes
It is not British biased that you are choosing Lewis as nr 1. It’s about races that matter to YOU…I mean, if I would make a list like that, I would put Max somewhere in there. 🤣🤣🤣This has nothing to do with British biased…you are not disadvantaging others, just giving your favourite races. Besides, I would put Lewis, Silverstone ‘24 , somewhere on the list too🥴(had goosebumps )
Just a stunning conformation that most Brittish online commentators (except Cam) are mostly chauvinistic fan boys that vieuw the sport through union jack colored glasses.
For me its Monza 2000 when Schumacher equaled Sennas number of wins. The press conference afterwards is hard to watch, but heartwarming to see Mika consoling Schumacher even though they were fierce rivals.
Agree 💯
I don't think anything can top the flood of relief and happiness I felt seeing Grosjean climb out of the burning wreck that looked like there was zero chance he survived.
SPOT ON …. yes
If Lewis wasn't involved in Abu Dhabi 2021 nun of you give a toss about it.
Imola 94 was a horrible weekend, Ratzenberger and then Senna. It’s the one I remember so vividly, Senna lifeless in the car. As good as the happy memories are, the sad ones cut deep
Very well said
For me the same. And after that moment, the Senna funeral, i cried all the time. You saw the Brazilians crying, they lost their national hero. That was very hard to watch. I never ever forget it.
It’s basically all Lewis this and Lewis that . I checked out after all your lists
Emotions are always personal.
Senna 94 dying.
Schumacher 97 trying to drive off Villeneuve for championship in last race.
Max first win 2016 in Barcelona
Lewis winning 2008 last lap in Brazil.
Max 2021 clinching the championship last lap.
Bonus: Max winning Brazil 24 from 17 to 1 (total recency bias)
Why did no one mention Raikkonens world championship? That for me was insane
It was sort of mentioned at 8:35...
Zolder 82, Imola 94, Nurnberg 76, Suzuka 76 and Zandvoort 73 not to forget Rindt, Bianchi, Peterson......too much happend since this show entered our lives...
Damon, the most mediocre WDC ever raced the face of the earth. I am sorry. I was never impressed with DH.
My favorite emotional moment in F1 was when Ruben's Barrichello got his first F1 win in Hockenheim 2000.
#2. My favorite driver of all time Juan Pablo Montoya, winning his first race a week after 9/11.
Max's first win anyone?
Michael Schumacher won when his mom passed away - imola 2003
Michael Schumacher winning 2000 championship for Ferrari after 21 years
Michael Schumacher matching his idol Ayrton Senna on wins and on press conference breaking himself out- He was chasing Aryton and saw it first hand of the accident
Also Schumacher achieved pole position in 2012 Monaco when there was Vettel, Hamilton, Alonso, Button, Massa and between so many young drivers

“That gets me harder” flub had me belly laughing. 😂
The fact that Cam tried to say that Imola 1994 was not as significant as Abu Dhabi 2021 is maddening
I mean we can disagree. But this is not objectivity, nor is it a maths equation for which there is one solve.
Ive seen it happen so yeah it's emotional but my friend never saw it live (and only started watching because of my Schumi obsession) but never cared really for Senna and it doesn't do much. (Besides the normal feelings when a young person died ofc
it just shows he knows nothing about this sport, its history and the impact of certain events.
Love these episodes. It tells a lot about the emotion and how we consume F1. We might disagree on a lot if things but by god do we love this sport.
In the and we all bleed the same.
Crazy lack of Abu Dhabi 21. Ppl still cry about it on a daily basis

2019 when F1 drivers and Anthoine Huber's family surrounded his helmet on the grid for a minute silence after his death.
Most emotional

Ah Jeanne! I'll make sure it's not hidden in the system for review or something 🥹
It's controversial, but I still think it's'21
For me the most emotional moment was watching Kimi getting his but kicked by Fernando every race weekend when they were teammates at Ferrari. Kimi was my favorite driver as a kid and I never forgave him for the horror show that was his 2nd stint at Ferrari.

For we a bit older it was Jimmy Clarks death. 😢

I personaly will say where people win against the odds, like Gasly , Ocon, Carlos and Grosjean's accident.
Ben Salyum please see this letter from your mates driving around at a gazillion miles and hour as near as makes no difference
1994 Monza, zandvoort 1973, Senna Prost Imola of track, Mario Andretti 1978 World champ. Max first win ( i am dutch, so it was the first dutch driver who won )

I can go on...with the facts that will only confirm that more and more ;-)
😂😂😂
In the quite words of Sir Carl Lewis Davidson Hamilton's mentor, the late great Andreas Nikolaus Lauda, "Even a monkey can drive those cars." ;)
@@aoife1122well a monkey couldn’t die unlike a certain Senna 🥶🙏
Oh the humanity, don’t forget Turkey 2020!
Abu dabi all the way
Sorry, not trying to offend anyone.
BUT maybe these guys are too young for this ranking … cause what about the races / wins / championships / sensations way back in the 50‘ + 60‘s + 70‘s + 80‘s?
If this was the top five worst moments, Abu Dhabi would be the top of the list fact. Call me a liar. 🎉
Now we know how lulu won 7 worldtitles, with a little help from (his) friends
...british bias is very real here
This isn’t it boss
Expand please sir. Say more.
