Hitting them with corrosive dart applies a 45 second debuff called "Marked" that says "Damage taken from ranged attacks increased".. is there any reason we are not doing this before EMP discharge? doesn't it work for the any of the yellow damage or something?
@@Pancake699 no. You can use your PVE gear for PVP. Just need to change a few pieces to get rid of the accuracy or use moddable gear and swap out the enhancements

@@ivano1337 Thank you I started playing SWTOR again after a few years off and looking to get back into the game with a range class. I was a sniper in the beginning but looking like they nuffed marksman Im better at ranged then melee

Dope! I hear you Ivano. The problem is with this spec when I line my burst up, it duds for 20K 30% of the time (70% of the time when it hits I hits for ~110-140 K.) Mind you this is when I make sure they have not popped any sort of defensive CD (I will wait and use fillers till their DCDs come off CD to use my burst in antipiation of them them negating my burst....) Do I need accuracy in this particular case man?
@@OgLoC2 accuracy does not do anything in this case because the combo is yellow damage which cannot miss unless you are hitting into cooldowns. But it's quite normal to have some of your burst dud as you said because you didnt crit (unlucky), were taunted or hit a tank by mistake etc.
Snipers are just so 'annoying' in PvP. You can't shadow stride on them. You can't pull them with Vanguard cables etc. I really don't know how to fight them with my Shield VG or my Infiltration Shadow.
Yeah Snipers are hard to play against for sure. As Powertech, I don't bother with them unless I have Hydraulics. As Shadow you need to catch them out of cover or low slash when they are not entrenched and hope that your team helps you with taking them out
Yeah they really need to address this broken tactical. Every other broken tactical that has been introduced in the game has been reworked, changed, or straight up deleted

Exactly. It's a bit confusing but EMP and EP are Tech attacks, not ranged. Ranged attacks are the ones doing white damage such as series of shots
devastating vengeance or focused retri for this?
I was running Mastery plus Power. 6k base crit plus crit relic might be overkill but I didnt try it tbh
Whats the burst rotation? New to this so its hard for me to follow visually
Very simple: Interrogation Probe, Explosive Probe, Targeting Systems + EMP Discharge

In 1v1 Shadow vs Sinper is a dead shadow usually. It's better to just CC it and let other rangeds fight it.
