I’m so happy with my TWSBI Swipe in Frost and especially with my music italic nib from Pen Realm. So far I’ve loved all my custom nibs from nib Meister Kirk Speer. www.penrealm.com
Congrats on the new pen 😊 That nib is niiice. Hemingway Jones always has great advice the good stuff. It was because of his influence that I bought the Esterbrook Estie and it is now one of my favorites in my pen collection. I officially got my last pen of the year and I refuse to let myself get another for at least 6 months…July, to be precise. Just in time for my birthday 😊 I look forward to your ink vids. I’m keeping my eyes peeled for a sample ink order of my own very soon.
I haven’t tried an Esterbrook yet. I’m afraid to. If I like it too much I’ll want more. My plan in July was to not buy any more fountain pens until my birthday in January. Big Fail! I think I’m going to buy myself one for my birthday and try again. We’ll see how it goes. 🤷🏽♀️
@@lifeasme Giiirl, I hear you. I just moved up to a new 24 pen holder and I'm not letting myself grow out of what that and my current holders can handle. All of my storage combined: that's space for about 54 pens and I now have 33 pens. I'm only allowing myself to buy vintage pens now that REALLY speak to me. I cannot be a hoarder of pens, I just can't!
Great pen! Good nib choice, it makes your printing look great. The Sailor is gorgeous, too. Organic Studio Nitrogen is not actually a shimmer ink, but it is a well known sheening ink. Shimmer is particles suspended in the ink, sheen is reflection on the surface of the dried ink, aided by a high saturation level.
Thank you. I need to write down what the properties of all my pen inks are. Maybe i could use a shimmer in my MF Sailor. I’m afraid to to use both my shimmers and sheening inks in my pens with finer nibs.
