      I’m not saying he’s not changed, everyone has. Clearly whatever he is doing now is working for him, whereas before, it wasn’t. UFC isn’t about the integrity of MMA, it’s about becoming the biggest star with the highest drawing power. Unfortunately these days, us fickle fans buy into it rather than supporting the best fighters. It’s no secret that the UFC’s best fighters don’t earn what some other star names do.

      Means clearly won !!! He reversed that position at the end of the fight with great skill & had that fight gone on another minute , he would have knocked dude out with a ground & pound !! Plus the damage he inflicted was much greater !!
      The judges got this one wrong !!
      This fight is the perfect example of NOT leaving it to the judges !!!

      @Brad Carman Masvidal made Tim means miss most of the fight on the feet. They even said in the 3rd Masvidal was up +6 Significant strikes on Means. Jorge expended a lot of energy going after those takedowns, & he’s never really fought this style much in the past.

    I don't know why I haven't ever heard of Means but I like what I saw. Stays busy coming forward with good power with his hands. Seems to have some tricks up his sleeve, elbows. Underrated.

    So glad Jorge was able to get a few bags before retiring. Wish we could of seen him fight Leon though. I think after that Usman KO he knew he wasn’t the same fighter he once was. Still a legend of the sport.

      Worked off his back in the LAST round, with Masvidal still putting in work on TOP, second round Masvidal took it no doubt about that, first round was a good back and forth fight with Masvidal taking the lead bc of the TD's.

      It's MMA. If you get a takedown and some control, you win the round. Damage doesn't really matter unless both fighters decide to stand up

    On this same card (Henderson vs Melendez in 2013) Giblert Melendez, Daniel Cormier, Yoel Romero, and Larenz Larkin also made their UFC debuts and Josh Thompson made his return after UFC had recently absorbed Strikeforce and transitioned into their final form.     although tim looked as if he stayed in tune to fight throughout th duration... i'd like to say that iv'e never seen jorge's grappling offense this up to par so to speak, but an unexpected good kimura attempm from the opponent who was originally being grappled with... was an entertaining turn of events.

    Perfect example in this fight that you never want to leave the fight decision up to the judges !!!
    I disagree with this decision.
    Great fight & those men are a good match up but , I 👀 the winner lose in this fight because it was left to the judges which clearly made the wrong decision !!!

    Commentators are obvious with their favorite fighter. They call every move their fav makes and either are quiet or speak about their fav when their least fav makes a good strike/kick.
