But no longer become new as of 2021 because the design is very obsolete, despite a great bus.
Lucky that Singapore has over 1000 citaros and still in good condition. In malta our citaros wher sold 3 years ago and they where the best to ride in malta public transport's fleet. We only have 10 left and there used for learning purposes only with drivers using the d lissencs. I wish malta public transport was like Singapore with citaros as popular buses. I miss mpt's citaros😥😥

I loved to ride the Citaros in 858 but sadly, that was the last time I ever saw it.
After SMRT was transferred to Tower Transit Singapore, the Citaros were dead, in the scrap yard (is what I think where they put the dead Citaros there) and all there was left to ride was a Man Bus and a rare B5LH. Litterally put the Citaros out of their misery, I will still cherish them even tho they are dead in 858, maybe when I go visit my Grandfather I can maybe convince my father to ride 941 to my grandparents house and ride a Citaro. 😁 RIP for the 858 Citaros.
I feel like one of these days the K230UBs will soon be forgotten. I basically grew up with them throughout my childhood. Used to be extremely common everywhere.
Still see plenty of them being used today though. Can't believe its been around for 14 years already. But its just not a comfortable ride as the Citaro imo.

Unbelievable! Yeah they appeared on our roads since 2011 if I'm not wrong. Anyways, I do like these buses. Hidden aircon but can feel it, smooth n steady ride. How about making videos it's all about Alexander Dennis Enviro500?

Honestly, other than the seats, citaro is quite a amazing bus in my opinion. Of course not as common as the B9TL Weg2s but still pretty common, and for some reason I'm not bored of it, definitely one of the better single deckers out there!

Citaro is very common, in my neighbourhood 60% are Citaro rest 40% is KUB never seen any other bus here

Excellent Cinematic! Sydney, Australia now have 1 Citaro (Custom Coaches version) CNG left in service. 299 of the 300 have been withdrawn because as the gas tanks have expired. 1 preserved for static display

I prefer taking the Citaro over the Scania. Citaro feels much more comfortable as its less bumpier when on the move. The Scania buses feel really rough and bumpy imo.

The only type of lower decker bus I took today is citaros (I took 5 buses)

1. I think the OC500LE is copying Citaro cause Citaro had 1997. The OC500LE I think it is younger than Citaro
2. The OC500LE the Mercedes-Benz logo is much bigger than Citaro

As much as how slow the accelaration of the Citaro, It is my daily and also one my favourite bus
