I can't believe Amazon just let's this happen.
Why
It's actually incredible how much amazon sides with buyers over sellers. Even if a seller has full proof of what was shipped vs returned they lose the case everything and just have to swallow costs.
@@devonlefeber5022 Its not that strange is it? The sellers pretty much got no choice because all the buyers are on amazon, so amazon just gotta satisfy the buyers.
I thought every major retailer stopped allowing returns on trading cards. I guess Amazon still allows it? Costco, Target, etc.. the receipts say "cannot be returned."
More money than sense
I work for Amazon and an LPN doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a return. Some items/boxes get damaged in the warehouses and they go through a grading system and are then sold as LPNs as well.
LPN stands for license plate number. It is the unique indicator for any item moving through the fulfillment center.

This happens with Amazon returns all the time unfortunately. I work at a place that deals with Amazon returns and I see it all the time 😬 some Pokemon card have come through before too.

There are so many loopholes that need to be addressed, Especially for things like this. Keep doing awesome content!
Then Amazon couldn't sell cards period.
What if the seller themselves reseals packs or weighs boosters and then reseals boxes? Now when you receive your item and you try to return it because it's clearly been resealed you no longer get a refund because the seller will just claim the buyer is the one who did it and the buyer will claim it was the seller.
Especially if it's shipped from the seller and not from Amazon themselves.
I've personally received suspicious stuff from Amazon and I've returned it because I paid for a new product not some resealed garbage.
Sometimes neither party is at fault because someone will return a resealed product that appears to be in mint condition and it's restocked and then the next buyer opens it up and finds out it's been tampered with.
Now you don't know if it was the seller, buyer, or the previous buyer.
Not to mention a lot of this stuff if it's shipped by Amazon is stored in a warehouse so your products could be on the same shelf in a batch of 30 other sellers all selling the same product. So now you don't know which one is from which seller because they just grab one out of the bunch and give the money to the seller and then reduce their stock accordingly.
So the only way to combat this is to just ban selling these products period.
The fact that people will do all that for cards, but not get an actual job to fund their openings. Anyways, great video man!

@@e7193 I think you're forgetting about how sellers sell products through Amazon so you're basically just taking away their money and Amazon doesn't care.
The entertainment you come up with is awesome man! What if they open it, look for the alt arts or secret rares, replace the cards they removed and then send it back.

They make BILLIONS of dollars in profit! Losing a couple thousand dollars in returns and having happy customers is completely worth it!
One thing is returning, the other thing is opening every single booster in the back and then returning it rubber banded.
Legit returns are ok, but if you're sending shit back in you already opened youre a piece of shit and you probably will get caught eventually scamming pieces of shit.
That energy return and the fusion strike reseal return are crazy. Sad that people do that
It's children and losers who think they're scamming the $500B company Amazon out of money when realistically they are usually scamming small businesses that use Amazon to sell higher volume than they can through their own website or store.
Yeah, we have a bargain bin that does the same thing. Every now and then you can find pokemon in there but it's very seldom and they are mostly opened.

It's pretty sad Amazon lets this go on, wow.
Amazon does not care, they know people are doing this but fighting this would make customer go else where or cost them legal fees over $10-100 set of cards. Pokemon, yugioh, funko pops are extremely high return rate at amazon. Any return RARELY gets put back into stock. When you return something to amazon a person looks at it for 10-15 seconds then puts label on it and puts it into either trash, send out to whole saler companies that buy from amazon returns, or back to the original seller.
Love this type of video, it really makes me wonder how this stuff makes it back to Amazon, aside from the scammers cause that was sad to see.

Interesting video I didn't know that amazon would take those kind of returns.
I work in retail, LPN stands for license plate number. This means an actual person scanned the product in as returned/open. Where I work we are supposed to check the contents of the box for tampering/to make sure everything is there. Clearly Amazon does not do the same😂

I had a recent experience on ebay with a very similar situation as that fusion strike reseal.
