@@sharondale5754 especially since an aerial (in my opinion ) is not easy so to do it on the other side its most likely bad ( like I still don't have mine so I know how hard it is to get it)

One of the reasons for the side aerial thing to be changed is because Brady is not only a boy, who stands out drastically against the girls, but he is exceptionally talented AND THE LEAD OF THE DANCE. A boy dancer is extremely useful as the amount of different stories that can now be told. The mums have to get over themselves and welcome Brady and be thankful they have someone who is such a phenomenal Dancer

Abby changed Brady’s side Ariel because he had a main part in the dance so she couldn’t take him out of the dance or she would have to redo the whole dance.. why can’t these mothers understand that!

After close consideration, I've come to realize that the problem is Abby. I thought she changed at first, until I compared this group to the OGs and realize this is the same exact thing that happened with Maddie. Abby uplifts one child and degrades the rest, but because she's so intimidating and known to retaliate against the kids, the mothers fight amongst themselves instead and it comes off as jealousy. And then eventually it trickles down to the relationships with the kids. And there's no excuse for it! ALL of these kids are pretty good. Theres no Paige, Nia, or Kendall to blame it on, they're all around the same skill level and still this happens. This is just Abby's toxic personality.

We don’t know what’s been happening outside of what’s aired. There’s a chance that
Stacey could be the main culprit but lifetime want to make it seem more like Michelle, so they pick and choose the footage that they air to support their narrative

It’s like how when all the moms were after Mellissa having Maddie not do a dance last minute and then Maddie had to decide to not do the dance to please everyone. Then the moms got angry because Melissa didn’t tell Abby Maddie can’t do it Maddie made the decision herself.

I love Brady but when at the beginning of the season a girl (can't remember who it was) did turns beautifully on her good side and less on her left Abby said that she had to be perfect on both side. And here she changes for Brady...
Turns aren’t comparable to tumbling in my opinion though since injury can happen more when doing a side aerial. Not to mention, Brady is the only leftie on the team so he already has been doing everything on his bad side, turns included. The other girls don’t have to worry about that at all. It’s not a fair comparison when you are the only one on the team constantly worrying about doing every thing on your not so good side and you happen to struggle with an aerial. So as a way to prevent you from injuring yourself, it’s switched. Not the same thing as Abby telling you to strengthen your turns on your bad leg (which Brady already has and does every episode in the group dances). You also don’t risk falling on your head doing a turn.
@@jasminejohnson4850 it's true, falling of a turn is clearly less dangerous than falling from an aerial and I understand your point of view. Including the fact that after watching the number I actually feel like Brady going on the other side and being the lead makes more sense.
Coralie l I do agree with you on some points also:) You made a good point about Abby needing to make sure everything is fair and maybe she should have mentioned Brady improving his tumbling on his other side outside of the gym since he’s the only leftie (and because of that will always have to work harder unfortunately) and it may come up again. If one kid has to work on both sides and she gets onto them then she should get onto everyone. I was just saying in this situation, the change had less to to with Brady being Abby’s favorite and more to do with her trying to avoid possible injury so I completely understood why she made that change without a second thought.
Also, that girl's mom was bragging about how her daughter was a perfect turner. That's why Abby have the girl come up and do turns on both sides, to show the mom to be careful what exactly she's bragging about. If you say your kid is a perfect turner; then she better be able to turn on both sides and she better be able to turn perfectly. That's why Abby said that and she looked directly at the mom when she said that as well.
