Running on the front part/ balls of your foot (near your toes) so less time is wasted pushing off the ground, keep everything straight even your arm swings and your back, if you notice your making an X when swinging your arms then thats whats making you slower because your feet are probably doing the same motion. To summarize run on the front part of your foot and keep your arm swing, back, and leg strides straight

Hey coach, do you have any advice for me? My problem is that in an actual game I feel like my hands tense up yet in practice I can catch pretty much anything.
Honestly man I would just work on relaxing your arms and not extending your arms out to catch a ball. A lot of guys tense up because they try to attack the ball too early and they reach. Don’t let it hit your chest obviously but keep your arms relaxed and let the ball come to you a little bit more. Hope this helps
