Excellent explanation with difficult example other RUclipsrs have explained with easy examples which totally fine but not in exam please explain with more difficult examples as well
I still dont get it. Why did the burst time of p2 become 4. Can u explain it? Coz im kinda having a hard time to understand what u are saying at that time. Btw i love your sessions
we selected p2 2nd high priority so, we cannot include the whole brust time in Preemetive scheduling algo , to not miss any other prosesses which arrived at specifc time...we add it by one
Your explanation is good but can you explain with assuming tasks having a block time so that tasks gets effected not only with priority but also with blocking time
Consider a set of 5 processes whose arrival time. CPU time needed and the priority are given below Process Priority Arrival Time (in ms) CPU Time Needed (in ms) Priority P1 0 10 5 P2 0 5 2 P3 2 3 1 P4 5 20 4 P5 10 2 3 We need to solve the above problem using Preemptive priority scheduling algorithm i tried my best but i cant find the correct answer
Excellent job, looking forward for more such videos

Thank you sir
sir high num is highest priority example video kindly please
Hats off 2 u Mann
thank you sir.
what if there is no given burst time?
Consider a set of 5 processes whose arrival time. CPU time needed and the priority are given below
Process Priority Arrival Time (in ms) CPU Time Needed (in ms) Priority
P1 0 10 5
P2 0 5 2
P3 2 3 1
P4 5 20 4
P5 10 2 3
We need to solve the above problem using Preemptive priority scheduling algorithm
i tried my best but i cant find the correct answer
Priority repeated twice! Just confusing there!!!
0.75× speed is perfect 👌🏻
