Would be interesting to see the time dry with the 350g towels dried in a low tech dryer with auto dry. All these electonics add to initial cost and repair costs.
This is a marketing trick! Has anyone notice these machines are not only look the same but are actually made from the same manufacturing factory, the only differences is the labels. Wascomat is the cheaper generic rebranding of the Electrolux.
I always thought that Wascomat and Electrolux were the same company. Wascomat does have 45 stack dryers available with reverse tumbling. Ask me how I know. The laundromat a few blocks away from me has them, and I use them! This is very interesting, nonetheless.
@@therealvbw I don't get what the difference is, I thought there was only Wascomat in the US and Electrolux in other countries. What is the point of selling the exact same products under different names?
this test is unfair, it was supposed to demonstrate that the eco technology in the E-lux saves gas. but to do that there would have to be a load of towels spun at 100g's. in the e-lux and a load of towels spun at 100g's in the wascomat.
interesting.......because when Electrolux bought Ereaka blue line Sanitaire they redesigned the motor to be nonrepairable. I'd be terrified to buy any products for Electrolux.

I Filmed This Almost 10 Years Ago..!!!

They are indeed the same company, I have no idea why they did this against their own products

@@electroluxwash I assume they want to use the reputation of the name Wascomat to get more US sales
has no one noticed that they are literally the same while Electrolux just adds better features to their branded washers and dryers?
Laundrylux owns both.
I prefer the Seibt and Kapp, the best, which gives a G force of 450.

I think the idea is to compare the complete laundry system, although it is a bit confusing the way they did it
