You slamming your shoulder as you walk is literally me everyday! Hahahaha, sometimes I worry about my depth perception.

I get a really similar rash in the same places and the Biossance probiotic moisturizer always helps squash it if I catch it early enough! It’s been the only thing that has worked for me so just thought I’d share-thanks for being so real and vulnerable!

I had a similar rash around my mouth that was super uncomfortable and embarrassing. I highly recommend cicaplast baume by la roche posay. I applied it every night and when I would be in the sun, cold, wind, etc. and it totally healed my skin.

I have a similar skin issue - mine started about 5 years ago and it ended up being a reaction to too much sugar and dairy in my diet. I actually got a blood allergy test taken and it exposed areas of inflammation. So once I cut those out, it 100% cleared up. But then it comes and goes every now and then and there's nothing I can really do but wait it out. I know how you feel about it affecting your confidence. And it's also painful which isn't fun. Mine can itch and feel tender. Also, my good friend had something v similar all over her face and her derm said it was dermatitis, she gave her an antibiotic and a steroid cream and it totally went away... I know you've already been to a dermatologist but maybe get a second opinion if it continues to get worse. Of course, everyone is different and will have their own skin story/advice to tell you but I personally like knowing what others do to combat things like this because you never know what might help!

Same, I get this type of rash on my face and scupl because of my food allergies. Mine are mostly fruit and eggs. So I would highly recommend trying an allergy test!

thanks Kyra! sometimes I think it might be diet related. thankfully, since posting this it has gone away but if it comes back I'll definitely investigate further :-)

Every time I’ve put vitamin c on my face I’ve had rashes or a whole bunch of strange pimples as a reaction. I insisted a little bit but my skin can simply not handle it.

Sarah you have perioral dermatitis, it can be a result of hormones, it can be fungal or bacterial. I have lived with it for many years and it comes and goes. Just let your dermatologist know, keep using the creams prescribed and be very sparing with your products.

Hi! I’ve actually seen a doc and it wasn’t that when I was originally prescribed the cream :-) and it has since gone away, I think it was just a reaction to the vit c serum, thankfully!
