Plot twist (this is a long one):
In this universe pink diamond (disguised as rose quarts) went back to get spinel after the war ended. It took a long time to convince spinel to accompany rose quarts. While the pearl we know and love was still on earth she was suprised to see spinel come with rose, spinel would have to stay at the temple on missions to avoid her getting injured since spinel is not meant for fighting. The summary is that pink came back as rose to get spinel and pearl stayed on earth with peridot, lapis, and Connie to make sure that they didn’t mess up (I know this doesn’t make sense but I made it anyway)
