I've been watching you since almost the beginning. And you absolutely killed this lure. But it's crazy to come back and watch this older video and see how much your carving has improved. I'd LOVE to see you redo this lure super with silicone and resin fins.

I just watched this video again myself. Everything has improved so much. You don't notice the changes as time goes on, but when you come back and watch the older videos again, you really see his progress. I thought he was good when this video was made. Now he's that much better.

Wonderful job as always. I have learned so much from your videos. Thanks for posting these builds. I struggled with the glass cabochons eyes rocking and rolling while trying to dot them. Found a great use for double sided tape. Place double sided tape on a piece of wood. Stick eyes lens side down to tape and no more scooting eyes. the tape leaves no residue on the lens.

In the opening seconds, he invests more time and skill of the average old master into his art, a hand made likeness of a perch, then actually casts it into fishable water and really could have hooked up a fish, or destroyed the lure, an investment of hundreds of hours right there on the spot on a rocky riverbed. I repeat, hundreds of hours were likely involved to produce this exceptional fishing lure. And what about all the years of prior attempts it took him to get to this point. What are the other lessons here. What is the determination about. And aren't we all a little bit like him, and wouldn't we largely attempt the same seemingly impossible things, if we had the time and a space. Or maybe we do, and we are not pushing ourselves, maybe we cannot do it all, but what is it we could do now with what we have?

Have you considered the effect of making your swim baits a 4-5 section swim bait and only outing weight in the head of the swim bait allowing the other 3 or 4 sections to have more action. I would also think curing the tail out and outing it on a swivel would look amazing and add a whole lot of action to the tail end aswell just some food for though!
