- What a home stand a what a series for the San Diego Padres as they finish the seven game home stand at Petco Park, 5-2, which included back to back walk off HR's by Kyle "Higgy" Higashioka and "Action" Jackson Merrill.
Sadly Fernando Tatis Jr. had his 17 game hitting streak come to an end today but its all good because you they finally swept a series in 2024, as the won all three of the 3-game series vs Oakland.
Padres now will head to New York to face the Mets and then Philadelphia for a big test against the red hot Phillies.

When I first saw an interview with this kid and he was confidently cocky, I was like, this guy is going to show the rest of them how to play baseball. A long time ago I said to get rid of Grisham. Get rid of Weathers. Get rid of wimpy Bob Melvin. Now I'm saying to get rid of De Los Santos! Will they listen?
Today was AWESOME. Caught it on my phone. I did go to the Higgy walkoff last night. I have family from Texas visiting and took them. They were pumped and aren't even Padres fans. Lol. When we walked by this area, I told them I know someone who does RUclips videos of the players. I shoulde told them to Sub to your channel. Lol

I know it was against Oakland but that was a much needed series on many levels, especially at Petco!

Look for the buses just around the corner from Home Plate gate on the final game of a homestand! They usually board the busses around 1 to 1.5 hours after the game ends.

Finally looks like the entire team was in a good mood today, you got a lot of waves! Also they are wearing their traveling gray sweatsuits again. I wish I knew the story behind that.
I mean how do you get 26 millionaires to wear $200 gray sweatsuits, when they can wear virtually any brand of clothing they want? Machado even has a contract with Louis Vuitton. Can it be as simple as the “team concept” or am I missing something else?
I'm surprised non of the media has asked them about it, I also would love to know the story behind it. Especially considering they don't wear them for every "getaway day." Maybe @MartyCaswell knows?!?
those are the gray sweatsuits they wore for the Korea trip! i mean some of the guys like Arraez and Solano werent there for that but they sell them in the store so they just got the new guys a pair to match with everyone

@@brando7266we did see Bogey drive away in his own car before the players starting boarding the bus. I would assume that means he isn’t traveling with the team but who knows, maybe he parked his car at home and ubered to the airport haha.
