Mike and I would like to wish EVERYONE a Very Happy Christmas and a peaceful and Joyful New Year. Thank You so much for all your valued comments which we do appreciate.
Sitting up in bed with a cup of tea here in Cape Town, watching a cruise ship depart, bright sunshine, and then I spotted this on utube! Where would I rather be? Hmmm! a hard one! Happy Christmas and a good new year to you!
Merry Christmas to Admiral's Corner... it's been a great year of videos from you.. looking forward to next year. Best wishes to you and Val. Stay safe stay well..
What a difference a few hours make- nearly flooded at the station and then a completely dry road coming home! The Santa Special evoked a time gone by - all about the magic for children! The Garden Centre was being run down Christmas wise- to prepare for the Sale event! Blink and Christmas will be over! Thanks Admiral! & Val!
Nice to see you both covering the Santa special and the Garden Centre , it did look nasty down there about the same up here in Surrey, thank you both for this year's coverage of the trains, have a good one over Christmas . Clive and Dawne XXXX
You're having a nicer day than me. I was sick yesterday, so I'm not quite right in myself. Merry Christmas to both of you and Admiral's model steamies.
Lovely video Mike.. the weather is just what I need at the moment, it's extremely hot and humid here :(. The garden centre is beautifully decorated, and I see Val is enjoying her coffee as well . Sending you both Christmas blessings and love...stay safe & warm. Love to you both xxx 🎄⭐
Thank you Sara. Val was keen to get her coffee almost as soon as we arrived at the Garden Centre, as we had been "out in the COLD" for some time (watching Trains). We send you and Chris joyful Christmas Wishes and all the very Best for the New Year. xx
How good was that 👍... most enjoyable... I watched it in 33°C temp here in Australia... Only a steam loco can make it bearable to be out in a cold miserable morning in the UK ! Otters market is absolutely magnificent.... it's Santa's paradise.... I've never ever seen such a wonderful store for Christmas items .... they have EVERYTHING 🥺 Even when I lived there I never came across anything quite like this amazing place ... If that place were in Australia you'd have to pay just to go in ...!! Is it open all year round selling Christmas things or just for the weeks leading up to it ? I loved the ride going home .. brought back memories of that region .... great video Mike ... thanks 🙏 😊
Thanks Janina. The Christmas displays only appear at this time of the year. A shop once opened in Dunster selling Christmas items all year but it didn't survive.
.... oh and I'll take this opportunity to wish you both a very merry Christmas and a safe and happy new year to come .... keep up the good work too btw .... And one other thing.... what's stopping the WSR from turning their live stream cameras back on at Watchet and Blue Anchor .... they've been off for ages now... the tracks are now fixed .. so what is stopping them ...
Our compliments of the season to you too. About the station cameras, that is known only to the WSR management! Some do have some strange ideas. I was once told not to video a station building as it gives info to those planning to break in! Another strange comment was to say once they have seen a station in a video, people wont feel the need to visit! I believe the opposite is true!

Good vid of the Santa train. Has there been any snowfalls? nice display in the garden centre. Thanks for posting, Mike.
Thanks John. No sign of snow just yet!

What road did you take home from Otters?
