Update: We had five cats on five different screens simultaneously...two tvs, the computer, and two tablets--playing with your mouse while it was raining outside! This video brought my 17-year-old cat back from near death recently when she had a terrible infection. She had just given up, but then this mousie appeared, and she was determined she wasn't going to die before catching that rodent. Thank you so much for sharing this! A good tip...if the computer screen is so large that the cats get too exhausted, minimize the screen a bit. They don't have to expend so much energy.

This is the best one. My cat is OBSESSED. Literally probably 100 of the views on this video are from us LOL. The way the mouse moves off the screen, then comes back into the shot from the same place it left... That really works cause it's realistic! Every day he runs over to the tv so I can put the mouse on for him. I had to put a pillow behind the tv so he doesnt smash it into the wall hahaha :D THANK YOU!

My cats just experienced Cat TV for the first time today! I thought they'd go crazy over this video - it's a little furry animal running around making squeaking sounds. Catnip to cats! But actually my cats seem to like the variety videos that are a bunch of different live animals filmed, with their animal sounds. The variety videos are good because they all have their own interests! Roxy loves small furry animals. Nuggles loves fish. Tuffy loves insects (especially flies). Tabitha is fascinated by everything, especially birds by the looks of it. Esso seemed to be most interested in scenes featuring cats playing with squeaky toys (he's the only cat that goes outside). Actually they are all interested in videos that feature a cat especially when there are cat meowing sounds! "What is a stranger doing in our space? But where is it? It's not behind the TV where it's supposed to be? I can't smell it either!" (They quickly figured out that there is no real cat there, just the "magic" of that "picture wall thing" that our humans like looking at, even though they seem to be very interested when it shows boring things that you can't chase or catch!) My cats are indoors-only cats, and they love looking out the window. the scratching post is up against a wall with a window, so they like sitting on top of that as they look outside. They like it when the window is open so they can smell everything too. And we live on a farm so there are lots of different animal sounds. When there is an unusual noise, they all run to the window together to check it out! So, a variety cat TV that shows different scenes with live animals is like the window on steroids - and there's a bit of something for every different kitty personality! They also seem to find it relaxing as well as stimulating, sometimes they run up to the TV to get a close look, and other times they are happy to sit in their favourite spot and just watch all the different animals and things. I think it probably depends on what kind of mood they're in. I'm going to show them another video like this with something small moving around quickly later on, in the evening, when they're more energetic. Right now, it's the late afternoon, and it's nap time apparently. They just want to chill and look at it from time to time, as if it were a big window with big animals making interesting sounds.
My old cat sits in front of the blank computer screen every evening waiting for me to bring up this video. I have to hold the monitor down while she attacks it.
it doesn't work, my cat is too smart 😭 yes at first she was very excited, scratching my ipad like crazy, but when she realized the mouse wasn't real and she couldn't catch it, she got bored and leave it 😭
My female Lynch goes crazy leaping up and driving in to jump on the mouse since she was little, she much more into these Cat videos than her brother is, its a daily excersise routine we do and its her favorite of all of them!
