His Velvet album was so good and it's too bad it didn't get the recognition it deserved. If you follow Adam you notice some of the same people in his videos dancing. He's always used his friends when he can in his performances on tour and in videos. This album is definitely the one he wanted to make.
This Velvet album is some of his best work and probably the most him. My favorite on that album is probably Stranger You Are and Love Don't. Thanks for the reaction! Love Adam Lambert!
Adam’s real Superpower is his sheer talent. I’ve been a fan since his American Idol days. You guys had reacted to his “Feel Something ” video for me too. Great request, thank you!

This has a lot more of a rock edge when he does it live the guitar riff is heavier and solo a bit longer.
He also usually hits a nice double high tenor C at the end.
Thank you for this! Adam is so overlooked, I don't understand it. He is THE BEST! 🙌 Velvet is a whole album in addition to the EP. On the Moon is my favorite from that album. And New Eyes. ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 I love those songs so much. For any non-Glamberts who happen to read this, if you liked the song in this video, Superpower, maybe check out Roses. Or Love Don't. They're all so good. Just go listen to the whole thing. 😄

While I appreciate the comparisons, I believe Adam far surpasses all he is compared to in vocal ability. The way he moves from chest voice to falsetto and head voice so seamlessly is insane! He is so versatile, even singing opera, Nessus Dorma, for his Italian fans. I enjoy your reactions to Adam’s solo performances. More please!!!
I love VELVET! The whole album is amazing! So sad it was released right before the pandemic... My favorite album from Adam!

Love Adam, he's been a favorite since his American Idol days. Such a talented young man. Like you said, unfortunately he doesn't get the major airplay, that IMO he deserves. Great request Madison and as always guys, great reaction. ✌🤗

When this was released, Velvet was an EP but a full CD was later released a day or two before the pandemic hit so all of his promo and touring got cancelled. Lots of good Live Sessions from Velvet on his official channel.
A song and video I think you'd both enjoy is Getting Older, from his covers CD called High Drama. It's a cover of a Billie Eilish song and is really good (hint, he gets older through it). Suggesting the official video as you watched the official video of Superpower.
Give a listen to his covers album High Drama released 2023 , you won’t be disappointed 😊

The rest of the Velvet album is really really good as well! The live sessions are amazing! I had tickets for a concert on his Velvet Tour but the pandemic sadly cancelled it 😞

A combination of a 70s and 80s sound to it.
Funk Disco and a bit of underlying old-school rhythm and blues.

The video is very 80s while the outfits are funky 70s.

Any artist or song that can remind me of George Michael is always going to sit well with me, he made some great songs.
As for the outfits, I must admit I had a "hankering" for some of those bad boys 😅

Seemed like a mix of times but good beat and great vocals.
Adam sings with Queen. He was on American Idol but did not win. He should have but he would not come out as gay and the controversy got in the way. He is amazing and there are many videos of his performances with Queen. I highly recommend his performance of believe for Cher at the Kennedy honors at the White House. He made Cher cry she was so moved.

This video was filmed in NY. He was touring with Queen and they had a day off between shows.

It's quite funny you mentioning Superfruit. You're thinking of 'Rise', which was with Mario Jose, Brian Justin Crumb and Mary Lambert. But it's funny because Superfruit's original album is basically this type of sound. You never did get around to doing 'Guy . EXE' 😂😂😂 I may have to rustle up a coffee for that one of this days (probably in a month when I don't use the central heating, so you're safe for a little while longer 😂😂😂)
