I have that mouse, but ending up replacing it after a year because the double clicking issue on left click.. good for FPS, MMORPG or any battle arena as you can assign skills and functions on the side buttons.. the only con is the shape, it's so bulky that you'll get arm strain due to the angle of the curvature
I use the Redragon m720. Weird what you get used to. It's almost the same size, weighs 186g (over 0.4lbs), it sits on a very slow, control mouse pad, but the DPI is cranked up. I can move my mouse pointer edge to edge horizontally across one of my screens with just under half an inch (measured) of mouse movement. The exact opposite of most gamers preferences. For gaming I turn mouse sensitivity down (a bit) in the game options, but I couldn't navigate a desktop any other way.
I know, it is interesting what you can get used to in different environments!! I really want to experiment with this and see what I can do! It is very accurate and the sensor works really well, but it's a change from what I'm used to! However, at this price point, this should be on people's radar if they have the need for this style of mouse for sure!! I use MMO mice mostly for editing and for that it works really well and the ergonomics feel good for long use cases like that where I'm at my pc for hours sometimes!
Getting this mouse today and wanted to see a review video and thanks! It seems like a perfect mouse for what I need it for. And the price is very affordable. Got this one over the m913. Again thanks!
Hey thank you for stopping by and checking out the video!! I am glad this was helpful to you! Thank you for the feedback!! Much appreciated, hope to see you in future vids!! Cheers and Happy New Year!!
Dang, I'm bummed about the ergonomics. I have the G604 as well and love it but the weight of it feels kinda weird because of the battery inside and the metal scroll wheel. I love mice with lots of buttons so that I can activate skills in games on the mouse while my left hand can stay on wasd/space at all times. Thanks for the well detailed video king!
I’ve gotten used to the weight of the G604 over time. The weight on this one is spread out better, I just can’t manage the size with my hands. It was better on non fps games for me, but I can use the G604 for casual sessions due to size
Good day good sir! I was just wondering that the side buttons 1 to 8, when resting your thumb, do you accidentally press them when playing or using the mice?
You definitely can! You can program any short key or macros to all 15 buttons. So you could easily program this to fit your favorite game and it's needs easily! ie. program "E", Shift, Ctrl, etc to the first four buttons, then program 1,2,34 to the second set for switching through weapons in the second cluster of buttons. The combos are up to you since they all are programmable!
The wired version have a specific software that allow to switch profile. I can't understand why this option isn't present on the wireless version of the software.
Great video and was useful in making my choices. Ive seen other videos where the software allows you to save modes for different games/pieces of software. There is obviously the mode switch on the rear of the unit, but theres no reference to how to use it, and the software in its current state, doesnt allow you to change/save profiles/modes? Any one found a solutionn? TIA
little tip if you have to pick your mouse up you need to turn up your sensitivity you should be able to turn left and right without having to pick it up
No I bought this mouse and I have small hands people In my opinion over exaggerate the size of the mouse, it has a very ergonomic feel and is very comfortable to hold. It is not that heavy and if you want to take a vantage of all the buttons that it has, I recommend you buy this mouse because it is a really good mouse. The buttons are really easy to hit and there’s a built-in customizable software, including macros, lighting, and dpi settings
I’ve never had wrist issues. I got into Hardcore Classic WoW and played a bit too much. Out of nowhere I began having wrist pain. It goes away if I don’t use a regular mouse but, after a few days playing MMOs, it’s back again. I’d kill for a vertical gaming mouse. They don’t hurt my wrist at all.
Man I’ve been using this mouse for 2 days and now I have INSANE cramping and pain from pressing the side buttons all the time, anyone else have this same issue?
does anyone know if it is possible to change colors on this mouse without software I would be very grateful if someone could help because I have ordered
I ultimately chose this over logitech g600 because the m811p has newer sensor technology, and my 502Hero died two months after warranty so I'm still salty about that. and .
Hola cómo estás justo tengo ese problema, no sé cuál comprar si este o el Logitech g600, el Logitech lo conseguí por $25 y este m811p $30 es $5 más caro pero no sé si valga la pena o sea mejor el Logitech, como te has sentido?
I'm using redragon mouses almost 8 years. This one would be the perfect gaming mouse. Why didn't they put fire button on it? WHY??? I have to wait a version of this mouse with fire button.
This is my kind of mouse. I don't have big hands but I love wide mice so I can spread my hand all over. And then it doesn't have only 3 side buttons. Like most wireless gaming mouse.
i own logitech g604 and love it so much. after few years, i need replacement. yet logitech dosent appear to produced g604 successor and g604 itself already halt manufacture 3 years ago. therefore i need new mouse. after a time, i find this mouse, nearly bought it, but then i recall that i cant live without hyperscroll. sad.
SAME!!!! I keep going back to my G604 due to the hyperscroll! I can't use another! Recently tried the Steelseries Aerox 9 but didn't like it compared to my G604!
Unfortunately I’m not sure as I’m not a Linux user and I don’t want to steer you wrong 😞 here’s an article from a Reddit user saying this may be a workaround and others are saying run it on a windows VM with USB pass through. I hope this gets you in the right direction. github.com/dokutan/mouse_m908
The mouse is good. Not perfect. Because of your video I bought it. the software for customizing my model was not working even though the mouse was instantly recognized by my PC. The software utility still was showing mouse not connected even though I clicked ok on this message with my mouse. :) SO pluging in and out my wireless connector was the solution in combo with turning mouse on and of. Took me 1,5 hours to get it working. If you are not a 2m high grown man with an extra large hand you will feel like its too big for your hand. The second thing it somehow is always warm and makes my hand-palm sweaty. Even though I shut the RGB lights of it still has this somehow a surface that makes my hand sweaty. Unpleasant feeling. I never had this with any mouse by now and do not usually have sweaty palms. Then there is the somehow matte surface of the mouse. The surface is and the left and the right buttons are left with greasy mark spots even though I washed my hands. So it is very, very sensitive and leaves ugly spots of grease and even the lightest sweat and this I recognized only after 30 minutes of use. Picking it up is almost impossible without pressing the 8 side buttons and probably messing up something that you programmed the buttons to do. SO .... mmm is it good . Its OK. But I expected a bit more in terms ergonomics. Seems like the manufacturer never gave this model to some users for beta testing and polish the design and mentioned issues.
Hey that is really great feedback!! I agree, this was too large for my hands, I had to grip it to pick it up which is why I decided that it would not fit for my use case. I didnt have the heating or connectivity issues however. Did you check to see if you could exchange this? Did you order through Amazon or directly from Redragon?
when i have the software up, it says "settings error" and it says i don't have my mouse plugged in, even though it clearly is. I did try your method, no luck. Any help?

Thanks bro, answered a few questions I had which weren't answered on the product page. It's a shame they discontinued the G604!
Ikr I love the g604

Lmao " the weight of it feels kinda weird". Wtf. It's not that heavy. Sissy as men nowadays. Smh
Thanks man! I was looking for a mouse with this kind of features and a good price.
Good day good sir! I was just wondering that the side buttons 1 to 8, when resting your thumb, do you accidentally press them when playing or using the mice?

I'm looking for reviews because I want it for battle royal to I'm using a evga x15 but I want a wireless one
oh yes! now you can do commands without moving your hand off wasd. perfect for games that use your whole keyboard for ingame commands.

Are the numbered side buttons hard to press?cause the ones in perdition are.

For the love of MMO's, someone needs to make a vertical mouse for us old farts.

Please tell me you can turn off the lighting.
You can!
@@CoZChristopher Thank you!

Hi
Does this mouse macro setting still persist on each key it programmed on even though we uninstall the software?
Thanks
Can this work on playstation 5 and for call of duty please? Thank you

mouse in G600. I use (Left Windows +p)
Tengo la misma duda, te decidiste por alguno?
cool mouse, is it possible to use it connected all day for those who don't like plugging and unplugging the mouse?
Yep can leave connected directly!
I'm using redragon mouses almost 8 years. This one would be the perfect gaming mouse. Why didn't they put fire button on it? WHY??? I have to wait a version of this mouse with fire button.
use m913
thanks for the video
why are they all going wireless, is not wired more responsive, more reliable?

Are there any mice that are basically this mouse, plus tilting scroll wheel?
You can try the Logitech G604. That one also has the hyper fast scroll wheel! It’s my daily driver :)
Thanks - That is an interesting option, annoyingly that is EOL and insanely hard to find :(@@CoZChristopher
razer naga v2
M811 has mouse move for macros. Pro version has only key press for macros. Software downgrade. 😢
Does it work on console
can the software for the mouse be ran in linux with wine?
