@@chillarypuff Well it's just that most shows between Broadway and the West End have different arrangements - e.g. Les Mison broadway sounds so much worse than the West End

@@chillarypuff Oh no loads of stuff changes -mainly duets orchestra etc. Scripts change too especially with Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals since they have British phrases Americans might not understand. Phantom (for example) used to sound way better on the WE than Broadway but they just reduced the orchestra's it's pretty similar.

Saw this cast just out of lockdown...they were sensational and yes...we cried at the opening number, the middle bits, .. and that end of the show!!! I had waited 10 years to see it and it surpassed my expectations.

Thats reasuring to read, last time I saw the show it wa a completly different cast who seemed a lot better when compared to this performance by this new cast. It's ofcourse not the same setting so a bit unfair to compare so I'll be going to see them next month and it's hopefully just as good as the first time if not better :)

I've been watching this all day, I love the Lion King so so much, always have since childhood😭 I love this Rafiki and her costume, she's just gorgeous, I love the dancers too and the male singers. I love the opening song and Rafiki's high note at the beginning. I will definitely be seeing this play live soon. The Lion King is the King of musicals❤❤❤
