      Just so people understand. It doesn't keep the line from breaking. It's one more layer a flying chunk of broken something has to get through before it potentially hits Jamie. Since it's a soft rope, getting through that and the windshield both (especially without being deflected away from straight back) is highly improbable.

    • @thedeathwobblechannel6539
      @thedeathwobblechannel6539 Год назад +6

      Hell I might even instruct the hired help to lean over to the right out of the windshield area in case anything comes through the hood that hood will help but it may not stop a hook or something big like that coming through it and if you're just there keeping the motor just off idle and going straight for 10 ft leaning over the seat out of the line of fire is not a bad idea

      One of the few I've seen around here is like ours and they had those kind of wheels.
      What I know is that I've seen New Holland (and at least another manufacturer) that are exactly the same tractor but with a few different plastics.

The 7 ton Wrecker I upgraded too just before I got out had a ground anchor underneath it that I could plow down into the ground for situations like that. Not sure if it's feasible to incorporate that into one of your rigs but it sure did come in handy.

      @@KNR90 lifted trucks are worse than useless. They make the truck less efficient(killing the already horrible mileage), ruin it's handling, and they make it insanely dangerous if the truck ever rear ends someone. The rear ending thing is such an issue that the highway safety institute is going to start requiring SUVs/Trucks to have automatic emergency braking systems because 500+ extra people die every year when a dumbass in a truck rear ends them. Depending on how you lift them(if it isn't level) it can also be illegal in several states.
