As long as you enjoy fishing it doesn't matter if you catch anything. I love casting, reeling and relaxing. I don't bother filming it anymore because they were my least watched videos✌🙏🙂
Nice spot. Your egg sinker looks a little heavy. Try using a conical sinker at least half that weight. Remember a lure mimics a swimming bait fish, so you don’t want to be dragging the bottom. Use about 18 inches of leader. If you go back to that spot try using plastic worms using a Texas Rig to minimize snags. Those egg sinkers are best used for still fishing, using worms or power bait. There’s a reason they call it fishing. Otherwise it would be called “catching”. FYI, my Nikon W300 Camera arrived. I can’t wait to try it out. Thanks for the lead.
Thanks for Sharing. Have you tried drop shotting with a worm? Take your head net that slips over your hat to keep the bugs at bay next time as they can make for a miserable outing. The fish are there they just want a free meal as always. Stay Safe.
Love that view looks like a good spot, I dont fish rivers but that reminds of canal fishin here with the deep fast current, that heavy weight is dropping ur lure to the bottom to fast, a lighter weight and a longer leader 18- 20 in. above the weight is what I'd try and try some live bait crawlers, leaches. There's always gonna be alot of junk in that fast water to get hung up on that's just how it is, man I bet there's some monster catfish in there. Have fun HAPPY TRAILS Brotha. Peace
Use a pistol Pete lure. It looks like a fly with a little propeller. Use a clear egg shape bobber that can be partially filled with water for casting weight and about 4ft of leader.
Oh well, gotta keep the hook wet to have a chance at catching something. I'm sure that you've had a bit more success since you recorded this and at least you had a fresh cup of coffee out by the river. I really liked this one. Nice scenery and motivation to get back out there. I appreciate it brother!
I've been so darn busy with work I haven't gotten out at all lately. I was just thinking about hitting the lake again soon. Thanks for watching brother
You shoulda fried up that branch you caught, ( on second thought) it probably woulda took a lot of extra seasoning and spices to get it to that "tasty" stage..just take it home and mount it over your fireplace , I could listen to that running water all day long ,Thanks man
I never cut my line. If you’ve tried everything then what do you have to loose, pull. But there is a safe way to do that, point the rod at the snag take up the slack hold the reel tight & pull straight back, no backlash that way. Maybe you get it back maybe you don’t 😂
I tried everything I could off camera. I struggled with it for several minutes going up and down the bank and from every angle I could. Thanks for watching brother

I did have a good time. I did a lot of fishing off camera as well. I just didn't bother filming all of it. Thanks for watching brother
Ah ha, the Outdoor Research Seattle Sombrero, very well geared. Those are some awesome scenes of the Middlefork. Thumbs up Mark.
I bought that had at the Seattle store.. several years ago and it's still going strong. Love that hat. Thanks for watching brother

I'd like to get some worms and head back to the lake sometime soon. I'm just always busy. It's getting really irritating. Thanks for watching brother
This is a no bait barbless single hook catch and release fishery.
A bad day fishing is still better than a good day working!!
100% agree! I had a good time fishing. Thanks for watching

I will have to look for one. I haven't had the time to get out and fish in weeks. Thanks for watching brother

Great little spot to yourself. Those seem to be harder to some by lately LOL.
I was a little surprised there weren't more people out fishing. Thanks for watching
Big like to see you my dear friend big like
Thanks for watching
i have never fished in a river, only ponds and shallow creeks. need to do it but the rivers by me are super polluted still.
That's not good. Damn.
I normally fish at the lake near my home. Thanks for watching brother

LOL mounted over the fireplace would have looked nice. Sadly.. I released it back into the wild. Thanks for watching brother
Love the big foot cup
Me too.. it's my favorite coffee vessel. Thanks for watching brother
to left is rock or tree under water the fish would be colser to the bank or down a little bit at end of it
I thought about getting either boots or hip waders.
@@EatCarbs too wild for boots

All part of fishing. Sometimes cheaper hooks & lures have their place. But Not to cheap.
yea i use those slip sinker worm fish to bum the worm fishing
Maybe I can get to the lake this week and bring some worms with me. Hopefully I can get everything done so I can free up some time.
Nice place.
I shot my first RUclips video at that spot. Thanks for watching brother
the rocks or a tree limb
Yeah
I like the hat what brand is that cool rain hat
The Hat is from Outdoor Research - I bought it at the Seattle store a number of years ago.
Thanks for watching
June 5th??
Yup.. I pushed over videos ahead of this one for one reason or another. I do it quite often truth be told. Thanks for watching brother
I can’t wait til it cools down to go camping here. I’m ready for the fall.
It's been hot and we've got a burn ban on right now. Weak sauce.
Go for pinks man on the lower snoqualmie
Great idea! I have yet to catch anything.
Thanks for watching
if I was fishing that I use worms and more weight throw up stream then lift the rod and bum it off the bottom on too it to the shore be low you
I did cast upstream and let the current bring it down while I reeled it in. Unless it snagged on something and I was forced to cut it.
Maybe they want a cup of coffee that up and moving real fast you need more weight on your line
I didn't have enough for everyone. lol
The weight seemed ok to me. Thanks for watching brother
banjo next time
Dueling banjos ... lol
Thanks for watching brother
pull tight and strum the line
