So happy you all gave this top marks! Such an underappreciated film now. I vividly remember nagging and nagging my mum until she let me watch it, which at 10 years old, I came to sorely regret. Nearly 9 years since my first watch, still struggle to get through the final act. Horror perfection.
Remember going to see it at a late showing and walking home through a quiet street by myself. I can still remember a single leaf floating down right in front of me, absolutely shit meself. Great review lads.
Saw this in 99 when I was 15... didn't want to but didn't want to admit to my friends that I absolutely did not want to see it... Jesus I was terrified. Brilliant concept and perfectly executed but having said that, I haven't watched it since...make of that what you will
I saw this opening day here in the states. I had seen the SciFi 'documentary' a few days earlier and fell for it; I was fascinated. When I walked into the theater it was full up, and there were even people sitting on the floor under the screen. During the film all you could hear was: silence...shrieks...anxious whispers and gasps. I watch it every Halloween.
Great review chaps. It stands the test of time for sure. Classic as old as the hills concept but a great modern spin on it. Can you review The Good, The Bad & The Ugly soon please? My all time favourite. 🙌
You guys are bonkers with your 10 out of 10 but I love y'all anyway 😁. As brilliant as the marketing was I think it hurt the film because my expectations were very high. I saw it when it was released and only got really interested when the last 15 minutes kicked in to gear...then it ended. Rewatched for the pod and I like it more now. Heather Donohue did a fine job btw. All of the dialogue felt realistic as did their frustrations.

Thanks a lot, Harry. Glad you liked it :)

Sounds terrifying! Thanks a lot and thanks for watching 👍
One of the best shows you've ever done.
Thanks a lot, Steve 👍

Yeah, it was huge at the time wasn't it though its popularity seems to have faded since. Thanks for watching Tony 👍

Another great video, lads. I’ve rewatched the film since watching this episode, and I’m all in now on the theory that the two lads were in on it.
Thanks for watching and commenting Pete. Yeah that's an interesting theory for sure 👍
The Witch made them do it, the witch enchanted the forest. Made them kick the map, go crazy and walk in circles.

Thanks Jamie. Oof, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is a huge shout. We will get to it, for sure so stay tuned 👍
One of my favourite lines is the reference to the wicked witch from Wizard of Oz...
What could've happened at the end, with Mike and Heather?

Thanks a lot George. Yeah, Heather is very good in the film.
Even for Geordies 30/30 for this is a mental score.

Thanks for watching and commenting Peter. Yep it's an interesting theory that one 👍
