I am pretty impressed having gone through your editorial session. Can't you start this with English to English which could be perhaps more interesting and we could atleast avert the bilingual process. Even if not daily but once in a week .
Good evening sir, as per my previous commitment, today I watched this editorial session as your organization often closed on Saturday and Sunday respectively. Today's motivational quote is from my side “Study hard and see the magic.” Editorial is concerning to the filing a case against Sharjeel Imam for inflammatory speeches. In editorial: - Following the Assam's police action, the Arunachal Pradesh police filed a case against Sharjeel Imam who was protesting against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) at Saheen Bagh and delivering inflammatory speeches against Northeastern states. Senior Officer of the police said a case has been registered against him under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) in Itanagar police station. The officer also said that they acted on the available information and the circulation of a viral video on social media platforms, provoking division of Assam and other Northeastern States including Arunachal Pradesh from the India, creating communal disharmony and sovereignty of the country. Besides, a Special Investigation Team has taken the whole matter under its control and the viral video would be sent to a Forensic Laboratory for verifying the authenticity of it. Efforts are also being done to catch those who uploaded and circulated the video. The Assam police have also registered a sedition case against Mr. Imam under the UAPA. The Finance Minister of Assam has also said that a criminal case will be registered against him in connection with provoking people to cut off Assam. In my notion: - On the basis of viral videos on social media platforms, nobody can say Mr. Imam has done all the things until the Forensic report comes. The government must make a new law for handling the social media platforms as we all know that a large number of videos on social media platforms are available which somewhere effect the development of the government. However, people those who involved in inflammatory speeches against the sovereignty of the country, must be punished as several freedom fighters sacrifice their lives for establishing unity among the people. Given, the dignity of the country, fair investigation must be conducted as somewhere it has been seen that issues are covered on the pressure of leaders. Northeastern States are very important part of the country so our Government should take all appropriate steps whereby any complicacy in future can be ended before emerging. ■ COMMON ERROR # The ostensible reason for Mr. Oli’s decision, clearly without any merit, was (a)/ inner party intrigue (b)/ within the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP).
