Love the idea of touchscreen EQ dials, looks more fun and interactive. Plus that's cool how it can lock your settings in place! Really hope they make an X version of this kind of pedal! Great demo 🔥
Thx to you I bought this pedal :p Can you please upload the preset or share the setting of the second part of your demo I'm simply in love with the sound (won't simply copy it but use it as a base)
@@erikarko Thanks that's what I did. I don"t have the fine tuning you might have made in the app though but good enough to get the base sound I was looking for, thanks a lot by the way
Opinion on the studio setting? Every demo I watch that setting seems like its the truth. About to have one on the way for that setting and the presets, love the base A/O
The reviews on the internet say that when you switch between channels, the sound drops/disappears for a tenth of a second - is that true? That would definitely be a reason not to buy it ...
@ IRs are impulse responses of cabinets, ie: the speakers that you can load in the unit to make it sound like a miked up rig. Yes, there’s a slight gap - but nothing terrible imho
This Is such a great demo mate 🤘 I'm going to buy this pedal, so i'd like to be sure about some things... Can you hear the aux track and the bass track in your headphone while sending just the bass in the D.I. or the 6.3mm outputs? Can you send clean track (no eq/no effects) by the D.I. while sending processed sound by the 6.3mm? Can you use the pedal as a pre-amp, linking It to your amp head with just one mono 6.3mm jack? I'd use It as an headphone amplifier and D.I. box while recording clean tracks in the conservatory, and as a pre-amp while playing with my band, linking it ti the "return" of my amp loop Thank you so much
@@bbrowne Honestly, it was REALLY straight forward. I just set up three different MIDI messages and hooked the AOP up to the Midi Out of the Quad Cortex :)
Notification squad! I’ve been waiting for your video. You always have the sickest bass tones.
Thanks bro!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Well done! No chatting just tone shaping 😎, I wish more people will do the same as you when it comes to gear review.
Thanks!!
Great demo and tasteful playing. Only drawback of this video is that now I want one.
😁😁😁

I agree :)
Prayers have been heard
One of the best demos out there!! Very comprehensive!
Do you plan any side-by-side of it with Adam?
Thank You!!
Yeah, the question has come up a few times now, so I guess I’ll oblige :)
Fantastic demo bro! Think I prefer the alpha side. And damm that compression is banging
Thanks man!!
I prefer alpha too
Thanks Bro!
Hope it was helpful!
I like the IRs . all of my 6 bass pedals put into one..
👍👍👍

Nice to hear!!
Sadly, I’ve deleted the preset and done new ones :/
@@erikarko that's sad but that means you've made even better one ;)
Hahaha Maybe 😂😂😂 If you pause the screen at the right time, you can see my settings that I used, though! Hopefully that helps 😅
@@erikarko Thanks that's what I did. I don"t have the fine tuning you might have made in the app though but good enough to get the base sound I was looking for, thanks a lot by the way
Congratulation for your demo, very accurate and deep. Just one note: if you double tap over the EQ LEDs, the strip is set automatically to zero.
Thanks!! Yeah, I remembered when the camera had stopped rolling 😅

It’s pretty much my go to setting on the AOP. It’s amazing!
The reviews on the internet say that when you switch between channels, the sound drops/disappears for a tenth of a second - is that true? That would definitely be a reason not to buy it ...
If you stick to one IR, the gaps are pretty negligible IMHO :)
@erikarko waat is IR? So its true that there are gaps? Also at the microtubes infinity?

Thank You man!
Let’s see:
Yes! Pretty sure! :)
No! Sadly not!
Yes, absolutely!
@@erikarko wow
Thank you so much mate
🤘
How did you switch channels when this is on your desktop?
I used my Neural DSP Quad Cortex as a MIDI-controller 😅😁
@@erikarko I'll have to look that up as investigate, if you have any info to share I would appreciate that:)
@@bbrowne Honestly, it was REALLY straight forward. I just set up three different MIDI messages and hooked the AOP up to the Midi Out of the Quad Cortex :)
@@erikarko I am sure at $2500 for just that board:)...cheers
Metöööllllll
METHÖÖÖÖÖÖÖL!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Distortion is extremely disappointing, sounds digital and cheap
I disagree. Wouldn’t be able to tell it apart from the other AO-units :)
Always interesting to see who listens with their eyes and who with their ears 😉
