Thanks Liz for that great video. I am just discoring that game, after Castle Itter. What I am not sure is how to calculate the Intimidation roll, espccially the D+/- forces. Is it important which side has the most forces? Or what counts is only the differences. I wish there had been a example in the rulebook or a FAQ.
This is a very good video explaining how a turn works in this game. Based on this, your closing comments about it being somewhat "linear" make perfect sense, and I don't think this is a game for me = too predictable in its outcomes. It looks to me like Alexander can't lose (I know, I know - he didn't lose historically, but it does detract from the playability of a game if one side will (almost?) always win).
I love these historical games of yours! Really cool to see, and you do such a great job explaining everything. This game should have incorporated something about Alexander’s horrible drinking habit. That could have been the “thematic justification” if you ever lose any battle in the game, since this Macedonian never lost, historically-speaking.

u funny dont see alot of movies, if Alexander the Great was an alcoholic u think he became GREAT?
How to solo the game ? . It is purely a solo game !
