It is indeed a beautiful house with a sea on one side and river on the other end and so we have the unique setting of a sunrise and sunset. We were lucky to stay in this beautiful house which takes you back to the good old world charm. I fell in love with this place , so also my family and my grandchildren had a great time in the sand & sea.!! Incredibly vintage stuff!!!
Beautiful, beautiful house. Incredibly sad that we are moving so quickly away from all this rich heritage that we should really be owning and passing it on to our future generations.
@@Gaurang.h ofcourse i know it south Karnataka sir and thev house has Kerala influence as it's close to Kerala borders some traits overlap n also do note i have put comas around 'keralite 'bcoz the place is not exactly in Kerala !!!! Hope this answers your doubt
@@RB-om8sk I have been to both Kerala and Karnataka is my native place.. even Northern Karnataka have the same style of houses and guess what, places in Maharashtra and also Goa bordering Karnataka have similar kind of houses ... So yeah basically houses in Kerala are obviously similar but I don't think they are influenced by Kerala .. it's just a western coast area houses thing ...

Sir mangaluru is in dakshina kannada district. both udupi and DK districts are same in culture and coastal regions. Both together are called parashurama kshetra. means lord parashurma created the land. better use name dakshina kannada instead of mangaluru. Always that single place name gets highlighted in outside people's eyes and they dont know about other places, names and dont notice them. For traditional homes with wells and clean environment, kindly visit places inside udupi district and to bantwala, beltangadi, putturu regions in DK district for such. mangaluru is just urbanised city like bangalore
Thats one really nice property , usually come to mattu or padukere beach and skip malpe during our visits to udupi . Do visit blue flag beach on the way to mangalore if you haven .

It’s accommodation for 8 people in 4 air conditioned fully fitted out rooms on double occupancy in a splendid property that sits on a quarter acre in the most amazing setting between the river and sea with a near private beach over a weekend. Not cheap but definitely worth what one pays for the overall experience.
The caretakers can cook some simple veg fare. There are also restaurants that can deliver, and a full fledged kitchen in case you’d like to cook a meal too.

I found malpe 25 years ago on a trip to mani pal. Always loved the area. One of the best parts of Karnataka with super warm kind and friendly people.
That entire stretch of coast is so peaceful and lovely. Even Kapu is a nice beach with the light house. Super yummy seafood.
I'm so happy that Karnataka is not so commercial like Goa and Kerala .. the beaches are almost untouched .. wow !!!! .. love Karnataka
