Polaria - Tromso, Norway

While we were in Tromso, we had a need to visit some animals, so we walked over to Polaria, which is their aquarium. The seals are definitely the highlight. We got there right on time to watch the training session. We fell in love with them. We stayed to watch them after it was over. Everyone left, but the trainers came back out to give them some ice and talked with us and answered all of our questions. We spent most of our time just watching them. Eventually we did look around the rest of the aquarium. They are in the middle of a major renovation, including adding a section for the seals to go outside. If you are in Tromso I highly recommend checking out Polaria.
