- Check out the action from Round 13 of the Mazda MX-5 Cup at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. Round 14 will be available the day following the 3:00 p.m. ET NBCSN telecast November 23, 2021.
There is no series that better combines the raw skill and competition of carting with the power and speed of racing cars. This is simply astonishing. It's no wonder that the always-amazing IMSA broadcast team is having so much fun calling these races.
As someone who usually isn’t into single-make GT series, the Mazda MX-5 Cup has been so much fun to watch this year. Thank you to the higher-ups for making this series a part of the IMSA family this year, I can’t wait to see more of it next season!

Love it! Epic finish... Unclear why every series has to be more and more aero dependent. So fun to watch road racing where the draft isn't mitigated by a loss of downforce from following "too closely."

Best racing series on earth. The confidence and skill of these drivers to push their cars to the bleeding edge of grip (and sometimes beyond), the storylines, the commentary, it's all perfect.

I keep expecting a semi-boring race or finish in the Mazda races but it delivers nail biting, edge of your seat races I can't take my eyes off of every time!

How does one become a driver and compete in these events?
A good start would be to go to driving school and establish a license (Skip Barber Racing School for example).
