    This is such a great video about the Discovery Session. The handout in the FB group is also very helpful and I use it to help me stay on track. I love that Kelsa emphasizes the importance of asking questing and understanding the whole situation...not just focusing on the numbers.

      I'm so glad you gained so much from this video Sherry. And yes, the handout is exactly what the coaches on my team use when doing their first session with clients - it helps keep everyone on track and the session flowing so the client gains the most value. There's been a Part 2 to this video so make sure you check that out here if you haven't already: ruclips.net/video/IykafDeJTos/видео.html

      I'm so glad you think so Becky! Here's an updated version of this video- released just a few days ago. It's an even deeper dive into the first session. It's part of a series though so make sure you go back to the beginning to tie it all together (i.e. how you get a client to schedule/book this first session with you!) ruclips.net/video/g_WFdSbvr6w/видео.html

    I have been told to not 'coach' them on the call but if they are paying for the consult it's a great way to show them how you can help. give them that 'aha' moment! Great info. Thanks!

      Hey Stacey, we definitely think demonstrating our coaching is the best way to help a client experience it so they get excited about their progress right away AND we get to see how coachable they are! We do a 15-minute call where we do not coach but we want to demonstrate the value we bring as quickly as possible. I would love to hear an actual conversation between a financial coach and a client

  • @dr.tiathelifecoach7912

    On my website I have the free consultation appt and the package of 6 sessions and the price. I’m thinking that I shouldn’t have the price on there since it may be different for everyone. Should I re-do it and only have the audit call for them to schedule. Or maybe the audit and the discovery?

    • @FinancialCoachAcademy
      @FinancialCoachAcademy 2 года назад +1

      Yes, that's definitely what we recommend Dr Tia! Our philosophy is to invite people ONE step at a time and only one step at a time. So for us, a person can't go straight into our coaching program (6-months), they MUST do a consult and/or Discovery session first. This is part of our process of qualifying them and also helping them to experience coaching before making that long-term commitment. So the ONLY step on our website is the step they can actually take. A confused buyer doesn't buy, don't overwhelm them with too many options/choices especially if not all those options are even available to them yet.
