Fading Steps:
Trim top to desired length
- Set in guideline with 0 lever closed
- lever open set in next guideline
- 1 guard lever open next guideline
- 1.5, 2 & 3 guard blend up
- Clipper over comb
- Blend second guideline w/ .5 guard open to 3 qtr
- Continue blending second guideline w/ 1 guard open
- Blend first guideline w zero, lever closed
- Open lever half way, continue blending
- Continue blending with lever open
- Do any touch up work
- Use trimmers to take out bottom hair
- Use electric shaver
- Do any line up with trimmers
- Shave with straight razor

Love the tutorials always great stuff! I wanted say I noticed you did 3 lever changes on the bottom side fade and 4 lever changes on the back! I'm not sure if you noticed that on your video! just wanted to ask to make sure you are using the same steps!

Yes so I alternate depending on the persons hair, sometimes you can take it out in 3 and sometimes 4. A lot of the times the back of the head hair gets thicker so I’ll use 4 stops, but your right that part slipped by me forgot to put that down.

So how long does it take for you to do this fade? Your video is almost 19 mins, but with cuts. It takes me at least 40-50 mins just to fade. And a beard added will take me another 15-20.
