The purpose of Exodus 7:1-13 is to record the Lord’s declaration to Moses concerning His fulfillment of promises to Abraham and the deliverance of Israel from bondage in Egypt. The LORD then gives Moses the charge to confront Pharaoh and demand the release of the Children of Israel.
