So glad to see Colin & Len reflecting on their Quarrymen days with John. I love these lads & as well as Rod Davis - missing for this interview. I was blessed to be a guest bass player during their U.S. Tour in 2008, & will be forever grateful & honored to have had that adventure....& to still call them my friends. God bless you boys. Long live The Quarrymen. Happy Birthday John - the world loves you & misses you big time. Rest in Peace & Love.

How ironic John loved Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis movies...because it was Dean Martin on August 15, 1964 that knocked The Beatles "A Hard Days Night" off the #1 spot on the Billboard singles charts with "Everybody Loves Somebody". Dean, sent a telegram to Elvis Presley, who was John's music idol growing up, that read, "If you can't handle the Beatles, I'll do it for you, pally."
Wow, elvis and Dean trying to get to the Beatles, they both failed but at least they tried... Just makes the Beatles even greater ✌🏼✌🏻✌🏾

Wow, I love Jerry's crazy humor, Elvis loved his crazy humor AND John did too, AWESOME to hear this, BRAND NEW new's, TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S.-While visiting Dean on a set with Dean's family there, Elvis said to Dean's daughters that their Dad was, The King of Cool, THAT'S how humble and classy Elvis is...I say, OF COURSE, Elvis is Numero Uno, and Dean is Numero Deux-o, but, they're ALL awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@@elvicare35 Yes that is correct...fact is Dean was Elvis favorite singer...I actually own the original photo proofs of Elvis visiting Dean on the set stage of "All in Nights Work" celebrating Dinos Birthday with Shirley MacLaine at Paramount Studio...Elvis was filming GI Blues at the same time.
And a special hello to you Colin and len looking back with the quarry men and John all the different stages he went through with music style fashion hair facial hair what a birthday celebration it’s been a fab week celebrating Lennon. I’ve Shed tears thanque to all who contributed 🙏
