Temple of Heaven & Lama Temple, Bejing, China [Amazing Places]

The Temple of Heaven is a set of religious buildings built in the early 15th century, used for ceremonies and prayers by the emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Lama Temple is the largest and best preserved lamasery in the world outside of Tibet. Started in 1694, it has 26m tall Sandalwood Buddha statue inside. Also known as Yonghegong, "Yonghe Temple", "Palace of Peace and Harmony".
