Yes but also ruining it (I'll explain bear with me), the current state of phonk is that crap called drift phonk aka tiktok phonk, made with distorted 808s and lots of cowbells with a russian hardbass inspired fast beat, then we have another type of phonk which is really nice to listen to, call it atmospheric/aesthetic/chill/vibe/wave phonk aka Lxst Cxntury, DVRST type phonk, and last but not least the OG Phonk which is really the revival of the Memphis Horrorcore, Doomshop, Rvider Klvn etc but also lots of other people who carried it Suicideboys, Freddie Dredd, Haarper, Ramirez, Baker (Ya Maker) and lots of others which either I forgot or haven't listened to/discovered, problem is Drift Phonk is ruining the phonk scene, and as I watched a video about Drift Phonk it says: it shouldn't even be considered phonk, just a subgenre and a blend of Hardbass and Memphis Horrorcore
