  • Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has said winning the next election is more important than party unity. But can he take a disunited party to power? Please subscribe HERE bit.ly/1rbfUog
Rows with left-wingers who are angry over the direction he is taking the party have dominated Labour's annual conference.
Sir Keir told the BBC Labour had to change to avoid losing a fifth general election in a row.
Is the left uniting against Keir Starmer - or is the leader trying to rid himself of the left?
Newsnight’s Policy Editor Lewis Goodall reports.
Emily Maitlis is joined by former Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell.

Notice how the mainstream media keep proping up the two main parties and give no attention to new parties that need help getting exposure, the media want the status quo preserved rather than whats best for the country, an actual right wing party that will take tough decisions based on logic, not pander to the media with virtue signalling nonsense.

The reason the Tories have been successful because they have managed to appear more centre, drifting slightly right and slightly left of centre as they have needed to.
