In this video, I will show you how I make a rose pendant lamp out of paper cups. This project is quite challenging, in that it requires some patience in constructing a rose, and there are 12 to be made for the lampshade. It is a great effort to make the best out of waste.
It is important to wait for the glue gun to heat up completely in order for the cups to bind, possibly because the high heat is required for glue to penetrate the waxy surface of the cup. The low temperature melted glue will not work well. You may also find it difficult to curl the petal at the beginning. However, it is only a matter of practice. Your working speed will pick up dramatically after a couple of roses.

A couple of practical questions: Do you use LED lights because the shade is entirely enclosed around the element and the heat trapped may catch fire? Secondly, am I correct in thinking it wouldn't matter the size of the cup used. Variations would just lead to either smaller or larger roses and hence the same for the shade as a whole? Thank you

This is by far my favorite. Very elegant and complex. Love it. I wonder if small led (tree) lights in the centre of the roses or between them would also look nice. Thanks.

You will need a light set to go with it.
Which paper cups did you use? Is it 0,2L or 0,3L?
Which glue did you use to stick them all up?
Hi there.. I used white craft glue for the rose and hot glue for the sphere.
This is nice but can you make it more big
Using larger cups will result in a larger lamp.
which kind of light/bulb you used in this pendant....??? please give me the answer it's very important for me plz.....☺️☺️
