So nice. My dream car
Thank you for watching and commenting
Thanks so much for this guys!!! I expected to see an awesome ride but it became so much more!
I salute your "testament of iron" and everything it represents. The personal touches on this mopar classic are inspirational to all of us!
The Valiant badge juxtaposition (including the bone stock mill "appearance" 😆😆), with the available 😲dash/interior, exterior nuances, vehicle stance/rubber and outwardly sound enhancements (tips) just scream "over the top" while maintaining a quasi-legal "try" 😆😆attitude to perform in every situation.
You guys are great! 😇😇😇😇😇
Cheers!
@@JubileeValence thank you for these kind words. It’s a passion for sure, and remembrance too
My brother bought this Duster from the Chicago Auto Show afterwards at a dealer it was identical but black stripe, rear strip went longer around the lights, white vinyl top and was H - Code. Ran 13s out of the box and 4 years later it was running 11.04 @ US 30 Dragstrip it was the screaming sleeper on the streets.
That would have been a cool car for sure!!! And fast as heck!!! Thanks for the comment!
Beautiful car! Mine is a 72 Duster 340 four speed Basin street blue with white stripes black bucket interior. Sorry for your loss. I lost my brother also. 😢

Man, that's a gorgeous '70 Duster. The best year to have as they had that 10:1 compression ratio. It's great that you and your brother were able to pool your talents in this wonderful project. What a special piece of musclecar history you have restored to be admired by fellow Mopar lovers such as I!
Beautiful car! I had a red ‘70 340. Sorry for your loss of your brother. I lost mine five years ago. Still hurts. God bless and comfort you.

Nice car, she's a beauty. You guys did a great job on her. Sorry for the loss of your brother. Subbed.
Had a 1973 back in 1976 340 auto I was the second owner which I still had it.
My 70 Duster was orange and black, my friends called it the great pumpkin 🎃...150 on the speedo,360 commando ,727,323...fun car.
I've always liked this car. I remember seeing it a number of times back in the mid '80's when I would come into the city with my Dart Sport. This was loonngg before I knew Trevor. We would see each other in our respective cars and wave to each other. Fast forward to about 2001, maybe 2002 I would like to say, and I heard from B.J. Wilson that this car was possibly for sale, so I asked him to find out as I was very interested, B.J. came back a week or so later and said no, wasn't for sale, so that was the end of it for me. Over the years, saw your brother's car around, car shows, show and shines etc. Fast forward again to about a year and a half ago, Trevor and I were visiting Bruce Baier and something came up about this car and realized it was Trevor and this car that I saw all those years ago, pretty cool. Oh yeah, and way back in the '80's, Trevor was running a tunnel ram on it without a hood, I remember thinking that was really cool. Just my story of this car... thanks for sharing yours Ian.
Hey Ken that’s a great add on to this special car! It’s been appreciated for many many years both by Trevor and my brother. Cheers!
I had one in H S was my first car mine was red identical wish I still had it , was wrecked by my brother unfortunately, if I ever get chance to buy one I’ll buy one beautiful car
lovethe car miss the man
Thanks Bob! Ya miss him!
Do you have a contact for your interior guy? What did this cost? Looks good. I’m trying to do something similar
Are you in the Saskatoon area?
Another great video, beautiful car, love that colour.
Thank you!
In the video you stated that it has the dual point distributor, but an electronic ignition box is plainly visible on the right fender well. Obviously not original as the 340 got that in 1972, and it was standard across the board in 1973. So did you mean it originally had dual point distributor before being upgraded to electronic ignition?
Correct I meant it was to originally have a dual point but has since been converted to electronic ignition
I miss my buddy mike
Me too Bud!
Nice car why did you not start it up
