Hi Sarah, I have been loving your videos. I am trying to get back into the Bible and prayer again after several years of living a secular lifestyle without God. I’ve been asking God to open my heart to see him when the time is right. Would you be able to make a video on how you study the Bible (I just got my Bible today !) and which books to start with ? This is a new journey for me and even when I was Christian when I was younger, I didn’t really have a relationship with God. How did you begin this journey ?

Hey Girls! So happy for you both! A great place to start is in the gospels. The first 4 books of the New Testament. When someone asks me where they should start I normally recommend John! It’s a beautiful book and there’s so much to learn! You can find free study guides online and RUclips also have a lot of great videos which pulls apart books of the Bible. A commentary would help you if you wanted to do a study on a specific topic! (NowBloom Academy Student)
This is awesome! I'm so glad to hear of your new journey. I can relate- I only recently came back to Christ after 15 years of backsliding and living a secular life. Watching Sarah's channel and others have helped guide me back (Thankyou!) For me, I've found a great church. If you don't go to one perhaps go & check out a few. A lot has happened since and now I have a great community of Christian friends and mentors. Also maybe try and be a part of a weekly Bible Study group. I struggle with reading the Bible at times (this is becoming easier) but joining a group has really helped me understand the word of God and I really enjoy it too. We're currently reading Revelations. The gospels are a great starting point too. Also, have you checked out a tv series called 'The Chosen?' You can download the app for free and it's about the life of Jesus. Hope this helps. Keep praying too, see what happens :)

One of amazing books to read on love languages is the book titled The five love languages by Gary Chapman.
It's a beautiful book infused with scripture here and there it's definitely a book I'd recommend :).
It also helps you discover your primary love language.
Yes that’s the book I read and was referring to 😍 I think the test online is by his book I believe 🙏

5 Love Languages is such a great book and the quiz really helps you to know for sure what you need and what your partner needs. Knowing them can save so many relationships when people tend to give up easily in most cases.
Btw, wanted to thank you for recommending the 31 Prayers for My Future Husband. It is such a beautiful journal, I bought one for me and gifted one to my friend and we both love it.

I totally agree with the baptism answer. When you believe, you should get baptized. As for 24:53 I would say that you don’t have to be respectful of someone’s opinions but you have to respect the person. 💛

What if, you don't just take what is infront of you, because you are not sure if this is from the lord...... how do you know if you are disobedient without really knowing because your sensitivity for discernment is not there yet.....

I don’t believe Sarah is a good person to ask this question. She stated that she felt God calling her to participate in a pageant, which is at its very core literally a sinful celebration of the flesh and not at all part of healthy Christian living. I would highly question her discernment. God never calls us to sin as part of His purposes for us.

Hey sorry to be a bother but please pray I get through this battle. I'm turning 28 later this month and struggling with being single. It's hard when I see engagement or pregnancy announcements. TIA.
I have a question, I want to become the greatest disciple or be seated at Jesus right hand. I want to have a wife but I believe, to become the greatest having a wife would hinder my attention from God and his usage of me. Paul says, person who marries does good but the one who doesn’t even better. He also says if you have a wife and kids your worries are gonna be towards your family, but if you are single all your attention can be towards God.
Try to remain humble. Do not long for God like power, it is prideful. I’d be careful and try to remain humble, knowing that we aren’t perfect and are incapable of being perfect. That’s why we need Jesus.
Matthew 20:26-28: It shall not be so among you. But whoever wants to become great among you shall be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you shall be your slave - just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many”.
You'd serve your wife and kids.
Both are honourable :) But if you have the gift of celibacy, go serve others :)
