A Fractured State (original release 2016. YouTube release 2020)

The story of the threat to Western Australia from the fracking industry and the front line communities who are fighting back. I made this film in 2016. The Government has since banned fracking in the south west of the state but the Kimberley and Mid West regions remain targets for an aggressive push to develop the onshore gas industry and fracking. The south west also remains under threat from conventional onshore gas developments despite widespread community opposition and the known climate impacts of opening new fossil fuel developments.
