@ Julie : they are Mongolians. I know Haya band from 2010. They are of Mongolian ethnic. Even if some of them are born in Inner Mongolia that is a Chinese province.
I like Daiqing Tana and Haya's music, although IMHO they should stick to a small 'rock' formation instead of addressing (or trying to) the kind of music in this clip. This clip here does carry accross a feeling of ice-skating and not actually getting into the waters, so to speak. Not very good, looks only like a show on display. But what they do as a small 'rock' formation with Daiqing Tana is all right. People interested in this might also look for Yangjing Lamu, Anda Union, Hanggai, Yangjima and Huun-Huur-Tu. Not all the same style, but related.
inner mongolian bands playing ar mongolian music we are mongols! why not ????? who don't like ? it is good . just we don;t like chinese we hate chinese ,,,
there is no south and north Mongolia bro ! there is no separation among Mongols. Same language, culture, habit, life, script, proverb, home, stories.... all
They copied the instrument They made the new style looks like shit And they play so crazy like rockstars I think theyre not Mongolians they look chinese Im from mongolia I play the instrument too
they are chinese, not mongolian and playing mongolian compositor's music. mongolian musiciens just don't move like them!!! the solo guy is not definitely mongolian, never never i saw the mongolian move like him!! they don't know how to respect this instrument! they just learnt to play but they were not born with the soul of this melody, that's why they're overplaying! for mongolians its very natural , that's why they never jump like the solo guy!! disgusting.
Thank you blood brothers.

The Haya band is made up of ethnic Mongols. They practice real Mongolian culture in Ovor Mongolia, not like Russified Outer Mongolia.
puu🤮
