Hi everyone, I just learned a little something about Gain. I'll try to readjust the video and reupload if I can, it did not sound this way when I was editing. Just remember to lower your volume s for now. Thanks :)

I love background ambient noise. Silence is too loud.
+Fairy Char ASMR Pro tip: use an audio compressor plug-in in your editing program with 1). no greater than 6:1 ratio; 2). fast attack time (about in between 0.5ms ~ 1ms); 3). medium release time (in between 120ms ~ 360ms); 4). set the threshold to about -18dB to -27dB depending on your raw audio's noise floor; 5). apply gain level to your like or just simply set it to auto.
But still, you need to make sure your input level doesn't clip at first place. (For my personal experience, I would like to leave about -6dB headroom for most voice recording)
+Fairy Char ASMR I think having it a bit louder is good, so I don't have to manually crank up the volume and have every other program scream at me afterwards :p

If I remember this is the first ASMR videos i've watched. I suffered from insomnia and had a long therapy to cure that. And you know it's not completely gone, but one day on January 2016 I saw this video and it's work. I started to stop using my sleep pills and slowly but sure i fully recover from my illness. Right now I can sleep on my own without listening ASMR anymore. I don't know you before and you don't know me or my face, but I just want to say thank you. Keep shining and use your ability to help others from entire world. God bless you.

Instead of volume gain, use a compressor, can make your loud sound softer, soft sound louder.

Audio little distorted, mostly that at your left. Maybe you are too close the mics or too much gain.
+Maurizio Martelli I asked another viewer this : This is going to sound stupid but I don't know what gain is. I did put the input level on 100 which is the max and the volume at 200%. for my old recorder this is what I needed to do. Would it help if for now, you could just turn the volume down? Would it also help in my future video if I turned the input level lower? There's no setting for gain on the recorder. Thank you!
+Fairy Char ASMR The gain is the volume (uncorrect but to put simply), if you record distorted the audio is always distorted, nothing that one can do. Normally, set the input to 0 dB is the rule, but i don't know your tool and i'm not close to you in the room ( very unfortunately :P ) ...so how can i help you?
+Fairy Char ASMR the loud mic pops is the gain, it's from the audio being too loud. It's what is sounds like when you turn volume up all the way on bad speakers
