  • Rarely seen at auction, this all-original 1972 Suzuki TS125 “Duster” was acquired by the seller in 1980 from the original owner and is a good example of a well-maintained survivor with all original paint. The seller states that the motorcycle has been kept in the garage. The seller states that in May 2020, he rebuilt the motor, including a new piston, rings, clutch, carburetor, front and rear chain sprockets, chain, brakes, and tires. All parts were original OEM Suzuki parts. Watch this cold-start video to learn more about this classic bike up for auction at Motonexus.

Great Bike! You Lucky Duck! I Always Thought It Was Cool That Suzuki & Others Named Their Enduros In The Early '70's. Thank You.

Beautiful bike. I bought a yellow slightly used 1972 Duster for $425 in 1973. It didn’t have a scratch on it. My buddy bought the exact model and got into racing. He had it ported, added an expansion chamber and I’m sure made more modifications. I rode it once. It felt like it had twice the power of the stock bike. 125 cc’s on the highways in Kansas City was a bad match but it was great in dirt with the stock tires where we hill climbed. I would love to own a perfect example, smoke and all!

Better than a 125 Yamaha. They a generator that would fail to charge the battery and would fail completely when the battery was dead. Some Suzuki's had the same problem, but I forget which models. A lot of those old bikes would not run when the battery drained and were not sufficient to keep a new battery charged. A Yamaha 175 was a good bike and so was a 250. A 360 was utter failed garbage.

A good friend bought one new, it was the first actual motorcycle I ever road, with shifting and all.
I was hooked . I bought a 72 Yamaha Mx 100 right after. The early ones were just enduros with expansion chambers and knobbies. We started racing MX and hare scrambles together. Raced all through the 70s.
He went with RMs and I went with YZs . Never forgot my first ride on that bike.
